Day 1, overall a good album and it was great to listen to something different to what I would usually go for. She has such a beautiful voice that sounds so peaceful and expressive. The bass in some of the songs sound so great and the talking at the start of the tracks adds a distinct sound to their music. However, I rated it a 3/5 because the album I have to admit is very long. When you’re listening to it all together I found myself checking how many more songs I had left to listen to, just because the songs became a bit repetitive and I enjoyed the first half of the album more. Also I didn’t enjoy the crackling sound on one of the tracks, that I have to admit put me off a bit. Plus, I weren’t mind blown so that’s another reason why it’s 3/5. Some of the songs were so beautifully made and sounded like so much soul and love was put into it, also this album has made me want to listen to more r&b and soul.

Le Tigre by Le Tigre

This has been an interesting listen with unique vocals and I enjoyed the bass and how they put so much thought and anger into this album. However I don’t dislike it but I would rate it 2 or 3 out of 5, I wish I could rate it 2.5. The reason why is because on first listen on some of the songs there just felt like there was too much happening at once, it also felt slightly repetitive but less repetitive than the last album I listened to. I would probably rate this a 2/5 because I like some of the tracks however, it didn’t stick out to me so it’s definitely a high 2.

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest

I was pleasantly surprised at this album. I’m not usually someone to be keen on rap music, with jazz and hip hop in the mix it creates this unique sound that I thoroughly enjoyed. I also bopped my head to a lot of it. However, it became repetitive which means there was no specific song that stuck out to me. If I heard this music I would like it but I wouldn’t go immediately to add it to my playlist, which is why I would rate it a 3/5. I definitely need to make a hip hop playlist so that I can listen to the songs again

Enjoyed listened to this album. The upbeat feel with the instruments and her vocals were nice to listen to. I would like to re listen to this album as when you only listen to it once, you sometimes don’t rate it to its full potential. I don’t feel like I could complain about anything so I would probably rate it a 3 or 4 out of 5. It didn’t particularly stand out to me most of the time just because I wasn’t fully listening, which is something I might have to do to fully listen to it. I also think rocks my favourite genre anyway so it automatically gets a high rating

Great album to have in the background. I did really enjoy this so i’m gonna rate it a 4/5 as an album. I don’t think there was a particular song from it that stood out but it was an easy and enjoyable listen.

Moondance by Van Morrison

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jun 13 2026

It was good I enjoyed the vocals and it was an easy listen. Didn’t stand out to me tho mostly so I’m gonna rate it a 3/5, but as it was my first listen I would definitely need to re listen to it as some point

The Age Of The Understatement by The Last Shadow Puppets

It was okay. It just didn’t really do much for me and didn’t use Alex turner vocals to its full potential and the vocals and the music didn’t really go well together. But just because I like his voice and I did like listening to it I would rate it a 3/5. It just felt like something was missing idk why.

Pretty easy album to just listen to. It’s upbeat but chilled out at the same time which I like. It didn’t wow me tho so I would rate it a 3 just from it not being very memorable, except le freak because I’ve heard it countless times
