1001 Albums Summary

If I could, I’d rate this one a 3.5 / 5. I’m not a huge Blondie fan but I quite liked the album altogether, was pretty good to listen to. I wouldn’t say no to listening to it again but I’m not in a rush to either

Generally speaking I don’t mind Kate Bush’s more popular songs. However, this album gave me a headache and it was not my cup of tea whatsoever. Don’t think i’ll be listening again.

I love Prodigy although I must admit I’m not an avid Prodigy album listener, I do prefer to listen to my favourite few and did enjoy hearing these live at Parklife in 2023. I did like this album but didn’t really enjoy listening to it. I think the songs as a standalone are great, especially the more well known ones. However, as a collective, it wasn’t my favourite. I prefer the album ‘Experience’ as a whole, despite preferring the main songs on this album.

I hadn’t heard of or really listened to Van Halen before this album. However, I am pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed the album as a whole and definitely would like to listen again and delve into Van Halen at some point.

You just can’t fault it, an excellent album overall honestly

Thoroughly enjoyed this album the whole way through. I’d only heard Dirty Work by Steely Dan before this album. Great to listen to, will definitely give it a few more listens

Fantastic album, got better as it went on. Listening to it with the sun shining, whilst driving made it even better.

It started off so strong, and then after soda pop i switched off. It was very samey samey and started to grate on me towards the end.

Absolutely insane voice, really enjoyed the album. The music throughout was great too!

Not for me, then again I’m not a huge fan of 90s grunge/alternative rock. It sounded like I was listening to one really long song.

Loved it more than I thought I would tbh. I am a big metal fan but I don’t usually love the songs with loads of shouting / screaming. However I really enjoyed this one.

I used to dislike country music but have found myself really enjoying it over the last year or so. This album in particular has been great to listen to, will definitely be listening again.

Gonna start off with a small complaint that I couldn’t listen to this album on any streaming service as it was unavailable! I managed to find a playlist containing all the songs on Youtube. Despite this, I surprisingly liked the album. Very fun to listen to, and I don’t typically enjoy latin music but really enjoyed this album. Shame that I’d have to watch Youtube videos of the songs to listen to it.

I usually like this sort of music, however I just don’t think Sam Cooke’s voice is for me. I felt like the recording of this album made it 10x worse.

A fantastic album, listened to it many times before. I’m a big fan of Pink Floyd in general anyway. Although The Wall is and always will be my favourite album of theirs

I don’t mind a bit of Elvis tbf, not sure on listening to an entire album of him though. Got a bit samey halfway through. Didn’t hate it though. It’d be 2.5 rating if i could
