Song Ratings: Too High 5.3/10 There was way too much going on just kind of felt like a bunch of songs thrown together. Visions 7.5/10 The type of song you would ride off into the sunset to. Living For The City 8.6/10 If the song had ended at 4 minutes it would be a 9 still an amazing song though. Golden Lady 8.1/10 Loved the rhythm head was bobbing for sure. Higher Ground 7/10 The beat felt familiar but I cannot put a finger on what it is. Jesus Children Of America 6.3/10 Loved the message, the song not quite as much. All In Love Is Fair 8.3/10 Genuinely had me floating out of my seat. Don’t Worry About A Thing 8.4/10 Timeless banger. Mr. Know It All 7.8/10 One of the strongest chorus’ on the album. Album Rating: 7.8/10 Review: I was very pleasantly surprised by this album. This is a great way to start this journey and I am so excited to discover so much new music. The sounds that Stevie Wonder makes are unmatched. The vocals to instrument combo are second to none. The best song was Living For The City. It had even more potential to be good without the outro that I didn’t love to be honest. The best vocal performance was for sure All In Love Is Fair that song had me levitating out of my seat. Overall a very solid album by one of the greatest to ever do it.

Review: This is a good album from an amazing artist. The sound throughout the album was pretty similar but there were definitely some highs and lows. The best song for me was without a doubt I’ve got you under my skin. The instrument work on this song was amazing. The worst song was Makin Whoopee. That was straight up noise pollution. Overall this was a solid album.

Song Ratings: P.L.S.I.A.C.T.B. 5.2/10 Just felt very hollow and dry. Pyramid Song 9.1/10 The piano throughout was incredible I doubt there will be a better song than this one. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors 4/10 Straight Up Noise Pollution You And Whose Army? 9.1/10 The build up into the outro was 100 percent worth the wait. Such a well made song. I Might Be Wrong 7.6/10 Very solid I’m liking what I am hearing. Knives Out 7/10 A slight step down but still a good song. Morning Bell/Amnesiac 6.8/10 Not sure what was missing but something was. Background vocals were amazing though. Dollars and Cents 6.3/10 There were definitely some lacking elements but the production was amazing. Hunting Bears 4.7/10 Not necessarily bad just an instrumental. Like Spinning Plates 5.4/10 Just felt like a lot was happening without any real purpose. Life Is A Glasshouse 7.4/10 Whatever those instruments were they were elite.

This was a good album but it definitely wasn’t great. I can see how people really love this album I am just not the hugest fan of Cash’s Music. However there were 2 very amazing songs in Hurt and I Hung My Head. The best part of the album is the emotion he displays in the songs. He really makes the listener feel the story he is telling which is always so fun to listen to. I think the lows outweigh the highs unfortunately. Sam Hall was a terrible song I have no clue what the vision was there. There was also just an inconsistency with the tracks that was hard to overlook.

Review: This was a very good album. The consistency up until the last song was extremely impressive. This style of rock is so good I feel like I have never heard a group do it like The Strokes. The distortion of the vocals mixed with the amazing guitar performances create amazing songs that easily made it into my playlist. My favorite songs were This Modern Age and Someday. They just stood out slightly more to me than the other very similar songs. I am very glad I listened to this without knowing anything about them because it made it that much more fun.

Review: There is a lot to say about this album. There were some highs but some other worldly lows. It felt like the guitar was so good at some points and other times it felt like they were blindfolded just clawing at the guitar. I do not understand how people think Eruption is good. Its just a crock pot of random guitar solos with no purpose. The biggest downfall of this album was the lack of emotion and purpose. It felt like things were being done just for things to be done. There were however some amazing songs. Feel Your Love Tonight being the best by far. It just amazes me how someone can make such good songs and also just straight up noise pollution and then throw them on the same album.

Review: Well not bad this album has a lot of areas of improvement. First off the fact that he sounded like he was pushing out a poop about 70 times a song. I do not understand screaming in songs in any scenario. It even drives me crazy when Linkin Park does it I just can't stand it. The guitar was amazing though and was by far the best part of the production. The fact that he did everything himself and this was his debut album was very impressive. It just felt like if he changed a couple of things this could have been in the high 7s low 8s range for sure.

Review: This was an interesting album. Extremely revolutionary considering this was in 1974. My main problem with this album is the lack of words. Not that I hate instrumental music I just find it to much harder to connect with artists messages just through noise. I did still however love some of the songs on this album. Autobahn and Kometenmelodie 2 stood out the most for me. The electric sound was captivating and I loved that I could feel the music flowing around me. There also some tracks like Mitternacht that just kind of felt like they threw some sounds together and called it a day.

Review: This was a very good album that is one of the most important in the history of hip hop. Ice cube branching off from NWA and finding his own identity can be seen clearly with the passion throughout the album. He is rapping with purpose and you have to respect that. There were some lackluster songs and the consistency definitely could have been better. Another critique that I have is that even though It was a good day is the best song on the album it feels kind of out of place. All of the other songs feel dark and sharp while the best song feels like it doesn't make sense in the storytelling of the album.

Review: This album was not that great. It wasn’t bad but it definitely was not good. There were some good songs like Rip It Up and Can’t Believe You Want To Leave but there were also some pretty rough listens. The main downfall was that it sounded like every song sampled every song. There was just no originality between the tracks and it felt like he was just copy and pasting the same template and then changing a few things here and there. The vocals were very good though and you can tell he has a passion for his craft for sure.

Review: This album was definitely a pleasant surprise. I thought there was no way I would enjoy a dolly parton album but here we are. It does not really have any sense or originality from track to track but that is not necessarily a bad thing. She knows what works for her and that's what she does. There were definitely some good songs on the album my favorite being Here I Am. The vocals did not miss once and her performance on every song is very well done. I cannot hate on it for being what it is supposed to be but it is just not for me as much as it is for some people.

Album Rating: 9/10 Review: This album was so good. The storytelling throughout was impeccable and you felt like you were listening to a story being told with so much emotion and passion. The best song was by far Comfortably Numb. That is easily a top 100 song I have ever heard. The only negative about this album I would say is the short songs that felt like interludes. It just felt like they kidn of halted the momentum of the good songs back to back. I get that they were transition tracks and I understand their purpose but it still feels like they were a slight hindrance to the overall quality of the album.

Review: This album was not good at all. I have no clue how this made it into the book. I understand that the sound may have been influential for the time and that the production is good but there is just so much stupid stuff that ruins the songs. This is the first album I have ever listened to where I did not add a single song to my playlist. Even the best song Traveller was good and then he decided to loop the beat for 30 more years before ending the song.

Review: This was a very good album. There was only one miss in my opinion so the consistency was amazing. The best elements were for sure the guitar and background instruments. I am not as high on Tom Petty’s vocals as some people are but I still think they are decent. My favorite song was easily American Girl. The up tempo feel works so well for this band and I loved everything about that song. I can see this album also having amazing replay value in the future but I guess we will have to see how well it ages in the playlist.

Review: This was a good album. It by no means blew me away but there were definitely some very solid tracks. I love the feel of the album. It really makes you feel like you are at the beach and the soothing guitar and vocals create such a great sound that is so addicting. The consistency however was just not there unfortunately. If there were a couple more songs that sounded like the first part of the album then It definitely would have been elevated a little more.

This is was a good album. It was cool to hear samples I recognized and you can tell she had a very big impact on the music world. The only thing I didn’t like is that some of the tracks were very dry and uninteresting. My favorite songs were the ones that had vibrant piano and passionate vocals. She also sounds like a guy sometimes not gonna lie.

This album was absolutely terrible. There was absolutely 0 identity for the music throughout the album. It felt like I was listening to a crock pot. There were 2 good songs almost everything else was utterly terrible. I do not know what to say this felt like a fever dream.

This was a really good album. I enjoyed the sound that the band had and it felt very unique. The British accent always just turns me away unfortunately. There were some very good tracks though the best easily being the card cheat. I enjoyed the guitar in the background and the piano just elevated the song even more. I feel like there was some inconsistency and if that wasn’t there this could be a 4 star album easily.

This album was definitely good. The trip hop genre is interesting but it’s not entirely for me. I loved the ominous feel that the songs had and the vocal performances hit on pretty much every song. It just felt slightly redundant by the end of the album and the listening experience was not as fun as some other albums.
