good vibe and clearly masterful musicians. Was hard to pay attention to it while working so not sure I fully got into it but still enjoyed, like they were jamming in the room next to me. Hard to pick favourites when songs on it are up to 23mins long... but Statesboro blues and Stormy Monday stood out.
slightly boring tbh.
Knowing only The End, The Doors had reached mythical status in my head and this album didn’t really match that at all. The title track sounds like Diary of a Wimpy Kid theme. Overall just not impressive really. Riders on the storm was great and LA Woman was good. 5.5 out of 10
Wanted to hate this from the start just for my boy George, and don’t like the vibe of Eric Clapton as a person. But this album is soooo good. Like really really good. 9.1/10
Favourite tracks:
- Please Be With Me
- Willie and The Hand Jive
- I Shot the Sheriff
- Give Me Strength
The most 80's thing I've ever heard. Had never heard of this and didn't realise that so many famous songs were from it. Felt like I was watching an 80's movie with endless needle drops. Favourite tracks:
-Born to Run
-War
-The Power Of Love
I always expect U2 to suck and I'm always surprised that they don't. Gave me good 90's vibes even tho this one was early 80's?! Sick album art. Slightly lost interest for the main bulk of it tho.
Favourite Tracks:
- Sunday Bloody Sunday
- 40
Didn't love the vibe at the beginning. Liked alot of the guitar and vibes throughout but in some songs the vocals kinda ruined it for me. But is a cool album I guess, felt like an 80's album from the 70's. 5.7/10
Favourite Tracks:
- The Good Thing
- The Big Country
had absolutely 0 expectations going and safe to say I was very pleasantly surprised.
So baller to break up one of the worlds biggest bands because you want to get funky and bluesy and show some more soul. All power to them I love this. Wont revisit every song but enjoyed listening today. 7.4/10
Favourite tracks:
- Dropping Bombs on the Whitehouse
- You’re the Best Thing
- Here’s One that Got Away
- Blue Cafe
Oh HEELLL yea. Might be favourite find of all these albums so far. Just so good man I love the 50's. Can see why Kerouac was so hyped by this stuff
Favourite tracks:
- After Supper
- Midnite Blue
- Splanky
- Lil' Darlin'
Absolutely insane that they listened back to some of these songs and thought 'yep that's good put it on the album'. Old radio station inserts are cool. The vibe is a mix between beach boys and beatles but if it took all the good songs off and left only the weird slightly bad ones. Screaaams of Britain/England too and I can't say I love it. But overall it grew on me a little. 6.8/10
Favourite Tracks:
- I Can See For Miles
- Early Morning Cold Taxi
Album cover I really like. Can't say I was the biggest fan of most of the tracks tho. Very theatre kid vibes in a not-great way. Bro literally said 'if you were a horse I'd clean the crap out of your stable' .....
Favourite track / only one I took interest in = Everybody Knows (Except You) but not even the version on the album, it was the early demo version that was good. Strings and vibes were actually real nice in Timewatching. Actually listening again to a few I don't hate them at all. 'If...' is alright too.
6.2/10
didn't pay too much attention to it but it was good enough. Nothing really stood out to me, not sure will revisit.
Masterpiece. Truly. Unfathomably beautiful at times. How did people not notice this man?! Just amazing, always liked Nick Drake but had never done this album start to finish and now I’m just even more blown away. Gorgeous strings, gorgeous guitar as always, some of the best lyrics out there. Just wow. 10/10.
Favourite Tracks:
- Fruit Tree
- River Man
- Three Hours
- Time Has Told Me
- Saturday Sun

loved it as a whole and was great to listen to start to finish. Probably won't revisit many of the individual tracks but overall had real fun old america vibes and I enjoyed it all. Felt a lil older than 73' 8.1
Favourite Tracks:
- Low Down Freedom
- We Had it All
- Omaha
didn't know what to expect but this is really really nice late 90's vibe. Just good peaceful 90's vibes. This probably played in the year I was born and years I was a baby and somehow I feel like I can tell. Really good guitary singer songwriter and great lyrics throughout. Could be on smalleville for sure. 8.4
Favourite trakcs:
- Pass in Time

totally respect it and appreciate it's probably an iconic album but just not really my thing I guess. Not sure survey specs are hype enough to listen to this
already loved it so maybe not fair but easy 5/5. Adore the album cover too and vibes are the best as always. 9.0
