Hmm don't know what to think on this one. I probably preferred the later half the instrumental ones. Whatever mood I was in just felt Bowie's vocals fairly graiting on this record. Started to pick up with Songs of a Silent age then Sense of Doubt amazing.
First 10 minutes or so really didnt vibe then started to sink in.
Still an interesting listen, you know its experimental and genre defining probably.
3 out of 5 (reminder when I go to rank)
I dunno if I should be comparing records or more so rating them individually.
I know for sure I got into this alot more tha n the previous album. I wasnt walking this time so it was more background listening.
I really liked the hip hop vibes and the skits in between really added to it.
I will say not so big on the faith vibes just me personally can be a bit samey at times but really good listen all in all. Helped me power through my cleaning.

Annoyingly I seem to have a different project on my PC as to here as it seemed to generate loads of songs here. I pause after I get a new song to ensure I listen.
So this album. I have said to myself I'll try and have no pre-conceptions and for context I am bad with my phone my digital wellbeing is shit.
I have said I'll try to actively listen for all the records as 1001 best records of all time. I want to give them a chance so I said I'll try to listen to the songs and not be on my phone.
I dunno if its that or that I was out walking after a long day but I found myself not actively listening. Maybe thats my flaw to work on. Not a problem when I am reading.
I would say the album is a cracker and probaly the one I've enjoyed the most. I knew I'd like it. The slides into the high vocals and guitar solos etc all fantastic.
I will defo come back and listen again. I thought in the first half an hour it would be 5 out of 5 but for now.
4.5 out of 5
Okay you can't give half stars, more 5 than 4
Wanted to like this one more than I did. Out walking again and the ambient stuff got a bit boring honestly. It would be good for sitting in work or along those lines.
I like Aphez Twin alot but in saying that I think Drukqs, Come to Daddy and I care because you do are better records than this.
TO JUSTIFY tomyself its ambient I like ambient music when I am doing something, I feel like it should be in the background this was I primary focus and yeas just found some of the later ones. I have to say its a mix I really liked Heliosphan and Schottkey... Actium.
Might give this one another shot at my computer

Hmm did not like this that much at all.
I remember listening to this when it first came out years ago on my sister's sky blue iPod haha.
Like Riot Van and Mardy Bum are decent but yes dont enjoy listening to it.
But yea just doesnt do anything for me the punky rock really not my thing.
Some of the songs I can get I suppose but yea.
2 out of 5 for me.
Hmm I much prefer the songs with Nicos vocals. I dont like the Velvet Ungerground lead a couple songs The Black Angles Death and Heroin were hard to listen too. Understand they are telling a story but yea not my favourite. Even the last song Eruopean Son I didnt enjoy so much.
I played poker whilst listening but yea so it was passive listening but I think its a 3 out of 5 for Nico only otherwise be a 2.
3 out of 5 more than 2.5 than 3
Definitely different though I enjoyed it for sure.
Short and sweet which I enjoyed.
I did kind of listen when doing chores defo not active listening now.
Now I am out for a walk and it's raining.
3 out of 5
Have to say like several REM albums this one really not grabbing me at all
2 out of 5 currently 2 it remains just didnt jive with it at all
Knew this would be a 5 out of 5 when I seen it love this album. Listened very many times.
Listened to it this time whilst half cut playing classic league of legends and failing yeooo
5 out of 5
Really interesting so far there were a few different looks 3 songs in now.
1983 feels like its ahead of its time.
This is the day was liked.
Ohh the intro for Uncertain Smile makes me smile.
Has been a gem, I would say me having a manic Monday, did slip in and out of focused listening but oohh the intro to Giant.
Yea I like it alot 4.5 out of 5 not a 5 closer to 4.
This is defo one I could picture myself listening to more for sure.
Giant is a sick ending though monster song.
Maybe its my mood again defo not enjoying this one.
Like I get some of it but just not vibbing.
One of those ones.
I'm doing well to have finished every album so far this one bit of a close to DNF.
2 out of 5 think thats the default for didnt enjoy but not hated
1st 3 tracks didnt really pull me in Sparks I know this I think is it the meme song but its the first that peaked my attention I know several of the songs of course on this album.
O really like Coldplay anyone be dammed.
Everyone knows Yellow.
I remember Trouble from around when it first came up. It definitely seemed to pick up at sparks I'll relisten to those 3 at the end and see again.
The piano in Trouble is great and I know parachute too, shorter than I remember it.
Found from this album I've preferred the ones I remember having listened to.
4 out of 5 for me.
Don't panic is decent yes maybe just took me a min to get into the album
Fairly middle of the road for me. Have heard of these guys stand out has to be 59th street for me
