1001 Albums Summary

I didn't realize I knew one of their songs until I heard "Bang a Gong (Get It On)." Overall this album was just OK--lyrics were fine, music was fine, but I didn't love it.

A fantastic summer album. Drove around in the heat playing this and it felt like a quintessential American experience.

This album is technically good, I am not questioning that. But I did not enjoy it at all.

Loved it except for the long jam sessions, which I am not partial to. Very funky grooves.

Really good, I have heard a lot of R.E.M. but listening in album form is different.

I remember listening to this a lot in high school, but I don't think it has aged well.

It was fine. Didn't do it for me like other Beatles albums I have heard.

Bits of this I loved, bits of it were OK. I might like this album more with more listens and would be willing to try.

So many great tracks on this album.

I had never heard of this artist before and I am so glad I got to give a listen! This was excellent and I would go back for more.
