Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 24 2026

Not necessarily a big reggae fan but I like the more bluesy and jazzy side of this one. Very enjoyable listen , solid 3.5/5

Jul 26 2026

Surprisingly enjoyable! I thought I didn't like Coldplay and that this band was hugely overrated but that album was basically back to back hits. I guess the production could be a bit less compressed and allow for a bit more space and breathing room though.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Jul 27 2026

Amazing album! I wasn't ready for the gut punch that was "Four Women", wow! That's the first Nina Simone album I listen front to back and it was very enjoyable and an emotional rollercoaster.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Jul 28 2026

Very nice album: well produced, some interesting prog elements and progression. It does lose a bit of steam towards the end though.

Jul 29 2026

Too simple and minimalist for my taste. With that said, I'm glad Working Class Hero exists!

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Jul 30 2026

Boring and very niche. Interesting synth sound but very repetitive compositions and weird mastering (very subdued drum kit). I don't understand how that album is meaningful. Highlights: The Architect, Valley.

Imagine by John Lennon
Jul 31 2026

Ok, much more enjoyable than his previous album (Plastic Ono Band)! Less experimental maybe (although I guess nothing else he ever produced quite sound like "I Don't Wanna Be a Soldier Mama" which is my favorite, love the jazzy feel and Black Sabbathish delivery) but every song has something interesting in it: from the blues elements of "It's so Hard" to the classical ensemble on "How do You Sleep". I went in this album thinking it would be a slog and ended up positively surprised!

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Aug 01 2026

An interesting collection of sound experiments, some hit, some miss and as a Del/Hieroglyphics fan, I appreciated the hip-hop ones quite a lot.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Aug 03 2026

Yeah I like Oasis, there is nothing I can do about it! It's maybe not my favorite album from them but the classic Oasis sound is there and it's a very enjoyable listen that brings me back!

With The Beatles by Beatles
Aug 04 2026

Meh. Nothing to write home about. It just made me want to listen to Chuck Berry instead.

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Aug 05 2026

I didn't know Barry Adamson and I was positively surprised with this one! Lots of interesting ideas mixing jazz and a light electronic touch. Maybe a tad long?

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Aug 06 2026

I knew a few songs, including the (in)famous Coconut song... And that's definitely an interesting listen! Nilsson has a great voice, the production sounds great despite the age of the record and the arrangements are really cool. Saw a few "American Beatles" thrown around and yeah, I definitely prefer this album over anything I've listened from the Beatles so far!

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 08 2026

Maybe I'll revisit that one at a later point but I doubt it. I find the most experimental and progressive bits more miss than hit. I thought I would enjoy this album more.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Aug 09 2026

A live album? Really? Get outta here!

Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Aug 12 2026

Such a great album! Tons of fun and encapsulating perfectly the 80s! I absolutely love those synths and the various experiments! It's a bit less interesting in the middle of the record (I'd say from Wish to Krisco Kiss) but the A side is amazing and the end of the B side is rock solid.

#1 Record by Big Star
Aug 14 2026

Meh... Nothing that interesting. Kinda run off the mill American rock.
