Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Jul 28 2026

Pretty good! No my kind of music really, but all tracks had their merit and as a piece of work for a Stevie Wonder fan, I can see why its highly rated. A good mix of tempo, and a couple of standout tracks more in the funk area similar to Superstition, which is the apotheosis of Stevie Wonder for me.

Moondance by Van Morrison
Jul 30 2026

Solid, a couple of standouts. Not my type of music, but was a nice listen all the same.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Jul 31 2026

The musicians having more fun that the audience. Even the applause seems a bit muted. Never liked Jazz, and this confirms why. I actually suspect this is a solid album of the genre, and no doubt tonnes out there are worse than this one. But honestly, not my thing. Nice!

On The Beach by Neil Young
Aug 01 2026

Really good this. First time listening to Young in full, but really liked the album and the variation on it. Great sound and will probably buy on vinyl

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Aug 02 2026

Great album. Title track is one of my favourites of all time

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 04 2026

A classic. Never listened to it in full before but love the sound and really like Led Zeppelin. The fact it was released in 1969 is even more impressive, as it sounds very 70's

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Aug 05 2026

Really strong and consistent. Some confidence in the track ordering, having the more upbeat "hits" in the middle rather than upfront. Overall very good.

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt
Aug 06 2026

Hypnotic and better on 2nd listen. Very weird, but moved by the back story. Produced by Nick Mason as well! Glad to have discovered this.

Aug 07 2026

A nice album and a good band. For some reason it doesnt quite vibe with me, and I am never really in that mood to listen to it.

The Band by The Band
Aug 10 2026

Really liked this. Great early southern rock with a real Americana feel. Proto-Springsteen lyrics. Would have on vinyl if I saw it
