Unbelievably peak self titled. Title track hits harder than my dads belt, and it’s the birth of doom metal and black metal

Station To Station by David Bowie
Aug 01 2026

Okay I know I flamed it earlier in the day but like it’s grown on me I love the texture of this album and it’s actually an unbelievably good album even if it’s not David Bowies best vocal performance. The texture in the opening track is spectacular, the vibes of the closing track are spectacular, and TVC15 is a goated blues. While yes I think that hunky dory is still a bit better it’s still a solid 4.5 out of 5.

She sings in cursive and that pisses me off but like other than that and whatever the fuck is going on with the production, it’s an okay album. My mom listened to Adele nonstop for years and so I’m not sure if it’s got sentimental value or not but I do really love when we were young. It and water under the bridge are the only tracks that don’t make this album a fat fucking 0. In terms of mom music she’s rather good but the bar is at the ground.

I think everything in this album has been done better by Destiny’s Child and Sade but it’s still a solid album. The callback to the title in every song is pretty funny but a tad repetitive, and the production is actually great. I love the layering and ear candy that occasionally shows up underneath the main instruments. Best track is red light special that guitar solo hits and waterfalls is a close second. Over all solid but a 3.5 still

Possibly the worst punk album I’ve ever listened to

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Aug 07 2026

I fucking love Leonard Cohen, there’s something so beautiful about the dynamic range and the restraint that all his arrangements have. Even with the first track where there are strings it still has an insane amount of range even going almost silent about a minute into the song

I like it the instrumentation is interesting and adds to the vibes of the album. Best track is sound and vision
