Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Aug 19 2026

Made me feel nostalgic. Was already familiar with Smashing Pumpkins but had never listened to a full album. I really liked the angst and longing and bittersweet feeling.

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Aug 20 2026

You can tell De La Soul had a lot of fun making this album. Caught myself grinning a fair bit. As much as I can appreciate the cleverness of the album I don’t think it’s for me. But I am inclined to give it another listen!

London Calling by The Clash
Aug 22 2026

Would definitely listen again. Very fun, and very talented.

Elvis Is Back by Elvis Presley
Aug 23 2026

Wouldn’t seek it out.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Aug 24 2026

So many bangers. I’ve listened before and will listen again.

Aug 25 2026

Can’t believe I haven’t listened before. Banger after banger. Preferred the first side and it’s a little lot for a single listen session but I enjoyed.

Wild Gift by X
Aug 26 2026

It was fine! Fun but a bit samey.

Dry by PJ Harvey
Aug 28 2026

Thought I liked it…then several times thought “what the fuck am I listening to?” DNF.

Aug 29 2026

Although there are a few Queen tracks I love, I’ve never listened to a full album! This was fun, clever, and had so much personality. I wouldn’t be in the mood for it every day, but it’s a good listen.

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Aug 30 2026

This album is before my time as I was born 98. I’d heard of the band in passing but never listened. I have to be honest, I wouldn’t have picked this album for myself, I really have to be in the mood for punk and I wasn’t today. Nearly DNL but decided to put it on. Immediately really enjoyed The Cutter. Really enjoyed The Back of Love. Really enjoyed My White Devil. Really enjoyed Clay. Thought I wasn’t overly keen on Porcupine, got half way through, really enjoyed it. Really enjoyed Heads Will Roll. Really enjoyed Ripeness. Higher Hell grew on me. Really enjoyed Gods Will Be Gods. In Bluer Skies also grew on me. Enjoyed Fuel! Each track was a great length for me and the overall album was just a really fun time. It didn’t feel samey like some punk does to me. It was emotional but optimistic. I’m so glad I decided to give it a listen, I’ll be replaying this. Now listening to all the alternate versions on the album.
