1001 Albums Summary

God, incredible. I should never again go this long without listening to this all the way through

I wanted to like this more than I did. "The Pain of Loving You" was my favorite. I don't feel right giving this less that 3, even though I am giving my personal reactions not "oBjEcTiVe" assessments.

Not my favorite REM but pleasant Favorite tracks: Radio Free Europe, Catapult, We Walk

Solidly my second favorite Arcade Fire album. Tracks 1-4 still hit so hard. "No Cars Go" remains my favorite, even if I'm still partial to the EP version. Maybe more like 4 1/2 but hey.

Perfection. Never gets old. Another one I should listen to all the way through more often

Another that feels like 4 1/2. So richly evocative of its time and place, so let's call it 5. Still exciting.

Pleasant dance music all around. Almost all tracks sounded like the kind of thing you'd put on a playlist and call it a deep cut. "Once in Lifetime" only real standout track.

Oooooof. Atmospheric bummer. Neat in a way but I did not enjoy it. 2 or 3? Let's go 2?
