1001 Albums Summary

Loved it. One of my favorites. Michelle is top 20 all time for me. Not my fav Beatles album, might not even be top 3. However, there aren’t many albums that can hold a candle to anything in the second half of their discography. Gotta be 5⭐️

Haven’t listened to the full album in ~5 years. It’s a great one. I forgot many of the songs, so now I am shocked by just how groovy So You’re Leaving is! I typically lean more towards slow emotional tracks. In that realm there are few songs that can hold a candle to “How can you Mend a Broken Heart”. As a teacher I play a lot of music in class. It is a testament to the artistry of Green

My notes got deleted somehow. I enjoyed this album, first full smiths album experience. The last track was incredible. Very vocally whiny (in a good way) and instrumentally lulling

Big fan!

I really enjoyed the great curve on this listen. Honestly, no song is as fun as Once in a Lifetime! "LETTING THE DAY'S GO BY, LET THE WATER HOLD ME!" SAME AS IT EVER WAS!!!!! The overload makes me feel like I am in a post apocalyptic wasteland and am toiling away in a mine for a cultish leader whose goals are unclear. Good stuffs

Only listened through once before today. I am looking forward to it! Really enjoyable. We listened to it as a class while doing review work. I am not sure when the last time is I heard the titular song, but it was memorable this time.

This was my first Fiona Apple album. I enjoyed it and was very surprised with the sound.

Honestly, not really my thing. I liked Flea. Big Time Nothing was a banger. I added it to one of my playlists. The titular song is a vibe, and not what I expected!

Definitely not something I would listen to without this. It isn't really for me. A bit too much noise. Idk how else to describe it. The rambling on Alife caused some anxiety for me. Maybe that is intentional, but even while keeping an open mind it just really isn't for me.

Baba O'Riley is just such a banger. TEENAGE WASTELAND!!!!!
