I Need to Start a Garden

It's fair enough but there's nothing stand out and so it's hard to get hooked in. All just a bit thin.

This was rather biting to me.

Sounds like the soundtrack to a film where people cry a lot. Also sounds like she's singing with her eyes shut. The first few tracks disappear into the background with absolutely nothing to bring me back into the listen. Sure, she's got a nice voice. But boy, do I find this dull.

Seemed pleasant enough for 10mins or so but really didn’t hold my attention I’m afraid.

Again, another issue with recency bias that I think needs to be steered clear of from this list. Nothing should be elegible before it's 10 years old. That's my problem though, I guess. On to this album: This just sounds like any number of over emoting vocal hush/fry/lazy enunciation girls with their guitars. Music I'd expect to hear over a montage of photos. Yawn. You could throw a metaphorical dart at any listening platform and find another million of these types of albums. Also, how does an album this short feel SO LONG?
