The instrumental piece was very good. Vocals sounded 'off' ... can't say if it was pitch, or trying to hit too many notes (flats) singers don't normally try for
Sounds like the soundtrack to a film where people cry a lot. Also sounds like she's singing with her eyes shut. The first few tracks disappear into the background with absolutely nothing to bring me back into the listen. Sure, she's got a nice voice. But boy, do I find this dull.
Seemed pleasant enough for 10mins or so but really didn’t hold my attention I’m afraid.
Quirky lil 30 minute folky thing
Feels a bit samey
I Need To Start A Garden is dull. The cutesyness of her approach wears thin quickly and there's not a lot else to it. 2.
Ok
Well that could have been heard at any open mic night in the world and you would have forgotten it by the next artist. 1.8
Not my jam
twee indie folk, oddly-spelled name and she's from Portland! Take my 2/5.
I wrote in my notes "weird indy one." Lol. The first 30 ish seconds I was super excited because this genre is usually something I'm a big fan of, but quickly realized my hopes would continue to fall. The almost Halsey-fication of vocals nowadays is too much for me. She seemed to be trying to too hard to sound like literally everyone else these days, and for me that just isn't gonna do it.
Not much into this melancholic music
