My phone’s keyboard has been acting up all day, glitching out and typing multiple letters even though I only press a key once…something is messed up with it, but it’s working ok now, so I’m going to try and be quick and to the point with this review: “Whipped Cream & Other Delights” - or, as I know it, “Perennial Occupant of the Dollar Bin at Every Record Store I’ve Ever Been To” - was a massive success for Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and a deviation from their previous records, which focused primarily on Mexican themed mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmuuuussssssiii— AARGH - Th is ddamn phone….Son of a fu— [”Spanish Flea” by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass starts playing] TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES PLEASE STAND BY

Whipped Cream & Other Delights is a jaunty way to start a new week, a happy if relatively superficial listen, nothing to write home about but a fun half an hour, 2/5.

Excellent album cover! The music itself is not so much something I can get too enthusiastic about. Sounds too much like I'm spending time in a vintage theme park.

Sexy LP cover. Smooth melodic trumpet and tight arrangements. Very “easy listening” and a bit bland. Certainly we’ll conceived and executed and if it’s time. Not of this time, however!

Very easy and enjoyable listen.
