Sufjan StevensThis was a fantastic album in my opinion. It felt so familiar yet so new and refreshing. The lyrics were beautiful and the instrumentation was lovely. I totally get the hype now.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this album. It was exactly what I think of as what punk music should be. I really liked the lyrics and the songs were super catchy. I actually want to revisit this album some more because of how good it was.
This is a super fun album and it maintained a consistent good energy throughout. I wish some of the songs had been longer or more complex but I still enjoyed them. Some definite bops in there and all around a fun album.
I thought this album was pretty cool. It is very emblematic of early 90s hip hop but it still feels relevant today. He had a nice flow and the album was pretty smooth while still being hard hitting.
A lot funkier than I thought it would be but also very spiritual. Lots of good moments, but the songs are so long that I can't imagine returning to them. I feel like this was a good introduction to prog rock.
It had some nice moments but overall I didn't feel like there was any flow from song to song. A lot of the songs seemed to go nowhere. I respect his work but it's not for me.
This was pretty nice electronic dance music, it made for good study background noise. It did sound very dated to me. While it was pleasant to listen to, I wasn't particularly attached to it overall.

It reminds me of a soundtrack to a space video game. Soothing to listen to and the sounds were very rich. Not really the type of music I like listening to but I enjoyed the experience.
It seemed like generic rock/alternative music to me. I didn't really connect with the sounds or the lyrics and I couldn't find a deeper meaning to most of it. Overall not my favorite kind of music.
Listened to on vinyl. I think this album is worth the hype. The songs are catchy while still being deep and meaningful. I want to listen to it a few more times just to fully understand it. Overall an excellent album lyrically and sonically.
I can appreciate the concept but I personally did not enjoy it. The lyrics were almost too good at describing the gruesome deaths in the songs. I also wasn't a huge fan of his singing voice. There were some nice moments like Where the Wild Roses Grow but otherwise I found it off-putting.
This album definitely sounds like 2004. I thought the concept was really original and endearing. I liked how he told the story. It's not the best rapping I've ever heard but it was pretty good.
This album wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It sounded pretty funky at times but overall it seemed like standard folk/rock. The lyrics were pretty unremarkable to me and it was hard to understand the meanings sometimes.
I thought this album was perfectly fine. It did seem pretty derivative of some other British rock bands I've heard before. I liked how the album was themed and I thought the lyrics were pretty clever.

This album was pretty good but kind of samey to me. I couldn't really distinguish between most of the songs, but I liked the sound. I think this folky kind of rock is pretty cool and I would listen to more of it.
I liked this album a lot more than I thought I would. It was very angsty but it felt so deep and meaningful also. It's definite a super intense album but it really resonated with me.
I liked this album a lot, surprisingly. The music itself sounded so rich and beautiful. I found it easy to relate and empathize with what they were talking about. All around just a really chill yet moving album.
This is definitely an interesting album. I like how she blended folk and jazz and a little bit of rock together. Her lyrics were very memorable and packed a punch. I wouldn't be mad if this came on but I wouldn't seek it out either.
I was a little disappointed with this album. I was expecting great things because it's Kate Bush, but I just didn't like it. It sounded very different but overall it didn't connect with me.

I thought this was a pretty average grunge album. It had some nice moments that I connected with, but overall I found it a little dull and repetitive.
This album was really interesting to me. It's amazing how much emotion she was able to portray with just her tone of voice. The instrumentation was beautiful and it fit Holliday's voice perfectly. Overall this album was very wistful and melancholy, with a touch of romance.

I wasn't impressed with this one. Even though the songs were very short it still felt incredibly long. I couldn't really get invested in any songs and it was hard to make out the lyrics. Overall I'm glad that punk learned from this album and improved on it.
I enjoyed this album more than I thought I would. It was the perfect album to just vibe to. The 17 minute long title track was surprisingly bearable and the other tracks weren't bad either. All around this album was a good time.
Any album with Hungry Like the Wolf on it deserves at least 4 stars. But besides that, I found this album pretty enjoyable. The length was perfect and it was full of new wave bops. I'd like to listen to it again and absorb it better.
This was a pretty good album. I was shook when he straight up said the N word in the first song, but I understand it was for parody. Otherwise I thought it was a nice country concept album.
I enjoyed listening to this album because Stevie Wonder is one of the musical greats. Superstition is a classic and I liked the jazzy tone of the rest of the album. Overall a well written and performed album.
