Woodface by Crowded House

Not a bad album, not a really good album. Solidly in the middle.

A total classic. One of the best live albums of all time.

Tidal by Fiona Apple

Jazz singer vibes. Really good album but probably will never listen to it again.

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Oct 18 2020

This is amazing. I love the musicality of this album. The production does have an 80's vibe but not in the synth way that I usually think of 80's music. I will be listening to this again for sure.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr

Let's Stay Together by Al Green

Not bad at all. Hip hop isn't really what I am into but I can appreciate it.

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Oct 21 2020

Damn it all my commentary is an album off.

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Jan 02 2022

This is not the first Elvis Costello album I have listened to. When I completed the Rolling Stone top 500 album list from 2012 I know there were a few of his albums on the list. Guess I just don't get him.

I really liked Straight Outta Compton by N.W.A., but I am not a huge rap fan. I have to say I really liked this album. Hard to believe this man would go on to star in Disney family movies. Favorite song Gangsta's Fairytale.

Woodface by Crowded House
Jan 04 2022

Not a bad album, not a really good album. Solidly in the middle.

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Jan 06 2022

This was a surprisingly good album. I will certainly be listening to this again!

Graceland by Paul Simon
Jan 11 2022

This album is fantastic. Except for "You can call me Al" that single song kept me from listening to this masterpiece for decades. Not that it is a bad song. It is an example of record companies back in the day pushing singles that did not match the rest of an albums's aesthetics.

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Feb 12 2022

Listened at the gym this morning. Pretty new to Jazz but I like Miles Davis and John Coltrane a lot. This was also very good.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Dec 17 2022
Van Halen by Van Halen

Awesome goes without saying

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jun 14 2024

Listened to this while walking Pickles and Herman on a beautiful, although hot Saturday morning. Just finished call last night. Right now I have 2 more days of call before I go to the floor. I realized I really like the Perrpers music but I can not stand Kendra’s voice. I do still like several of the hits.

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Jun 24 2024

I really like Roxy Music. This is a great album. I have listened to the whole Roxy Misic discography, but have not revisited them since. This makes me want to listen to some more Roxy Music.
