Popular Reviews

The Stranger by Billy Joel

Fucking great album. Tons of tracks that stand out as singles, but also work together to tell a complete and compelling story

Kid A by Radiohead

Fucking random noise and incomprehensible singing. Can't stand anything by Radiohead

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5

Really interesting album. Great lyricism, good flow from one song to the next, and varied sampling create a great, cohesive piece

Who's Next by The Who
Nov 05 2020

Classic Who album. Great individual songs, moderate composition

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Nov 06 2020

good progy opening/closing with Shine On. Welcome to the Machine wears out its welcome after four minutes. Have a cigar saves the album. title track and second half of diamond are solid

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Nov 08 2020

Didn't care for Syd's nassaly vocals, songs were whimsical, but almost unpleasantly so. guitar work was very basic.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Nov 09 2020

High energy excellent modern indie. some great haunting tunes near the end, solid album throughout with no weak tracks

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Nov 12 2020

Fucking great album. Tons of tracks that stand out as singles, but also work together to tell a complete and compelling story

Kid A by Radiohead
Nov 14 2020

Fucking random noise and incomprehensible singing. Can't stand anything by Radiohead

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Nov 15 2020

A great and comforting album, but while I can see how impactful it would've been at its release, I feel the Beach Boys music really shows its age. simple and occasionally repetitive construction lets down the great voices and harmonies

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Nov 16 2020

the album that spawned almost all of Floyd's radio singles. While I'm not fond of some of the songs by themselves, listening to the album as a whole elevates the entire experience. The only Pink Floyd album I fully enjoy

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Nov 17 2020

amazing album from the man who innovated and created rock and roll

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Nov 18 2020

Very interesting album, with a beautiful design, but I just don't care for the music

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Nov 19 2020

Sweet album. Cool dark and mellow sound, great vocals, and a steady flow from one track to the next.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Nov 21 2020

Really interesting album. Great lyricism, good flow from one song to the next, and varied sampling create a great, cohesive piece

Damaged by Black Flag
Nov 23 2020

Great early hardcore punk. personally prefer Black Flag's second vocalist, as it's easier to understand his lyrics in the songs

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Nov 24 2020

Simply one of the best rock albums of all time

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Nov 25 2020

Good psychedelic rock, but sort of spirals into repetitive instrumentation at times

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
