I cannot believe I've never listened to this album and have always loved Queen. It's true rock and roll, with enchanting, rolling diddies. I can hear inspiration for other bands decades after them to come. Great job Queen. I love how each song has a different musical theme. That is SO my style. Some of the songs are just SILLY and I love it.
Already loving the bluegrass feel as soon as the album starts. Anything that sounds like Outlander is good. Singer sounds like Neil Young. It started like bluegrass but now it's turning into late '60s rock. I do like how every song has a different style, and each one is a pleasant little diddy. (Note after listening) Well that was awesome. The album escalated with each song and ended on a very high note. Will 100% listen again.
This album has a lot of old favorites. I love singing Bridge over Troubled Waters and frankly everything else.
I mean. This is already downloaded on my phone and in many of my playlists. Awesome album. Would give 8/5 stars if possible. "Motion Picture Soundtrack" alone is a beautiful song.

I liked how dark this album was. I thought the Cure was lighter and they do have lighter albums (as I learned after I listened to this one) but I LOVED this and it made me a huge fan of the Cure. I heard a lot of sounds that had to have inspired future bands such as R.E.M.
Definitely disco. But I find myself jiggling my foot and getting lost in the music as I work. Pleasant at first, but some of it's kind of sappy. ... OK reeeeally sappy. Won't be listening again. It's fine but it's just not for me.
Some of it I like - the techno and funky stuff. But then it samples sounds of people shouting or screaming and I do not like that. It's giving me a headache. It's pretty frenetic. Would probably make good music for working out, dancing, party, etc. but not for when I'm chillin' at home.
Lots of loud instrumentals and vocals in a good way! This immediately reminded me of my husband, who would probably think I'm pretty cool for listening to this album. Liking it a lot and I find Iggy's androgynous style very sexy. I love the subtle use of keyboard and xylophone type instruments.
Didn't get to listen to all of it but it was dynamic and varied, which I liked. I also like female singers that don't sing all breathy with baby voices. I need to finish the album!
Love the rich music and chord progression. Rad.
I feel like a grandmother saying this but it's just a whole lot of noise. No melody. No THANKS couldn't even get through the first song. Maybe some other time.
Love the punk and jazzy mix. And I like the female singer. It's a little frenetic for me to listen to while I'm working or driving but I could see it being good during a workout or something like that.
Dark, and rolling. I felt like I should be sitting on a tie-dye couch smoking a fat one with some guy under a funky light. Reminded me a bit of the Smiths.
Well, they really jump right into it don't they? Buy a girl a drink first, for pete's sake. Every song sounds the same. This is not my kind of music. Sorry.

It's OK but it's a little too alternative for me. I need trippy-er music.
Peppy, catchy, lots of Cajun sound. I always thought "Call me Al" was pretty corny but the album is catch for sure. Would be good to listen to with the kids someday.
Very early punk. I'm sure young Nathaniel would have loved (or did love) this album.
Very much enjoy the sound of the Kinks. Very cool 60s. I appreciate the familiarity of the sound, paired with the fact that I hadn't heard any of these songs before. Would listen again.
My dad would probably like this album. Probably does. It has "Keep on the Sunny Side" on it. I'm bout to cry, dude. He loves that song. The end of the album had several songs that sounded like they should be on "Banjo Boogie Bonanza" from Parks and Rec and I had to turn it off. But overall I enjoyed the album.
Loved it! I've never listened to this album but it was an awesome journey. I can see why people went crazy for it.
This album is SO me. It reminds me of Megan Robbin. Lots of trippy 60s instruments. And I kind of like that his voice isn't perfect. I love the sitar as well.
10/5 stars. I haven't listened to this album in probably 15 years. Good music like this always reminds me of Megan Robbin, who was my musical awakener. I will be downloading this album on pandora.
Ah, 1965. Everyone wanted to sound like the Beatles and Bob Dylan, and the first song on this album manages to do both. A pleasant album.
Reminds me of if jazz, swing and jam bands had a baby. It's a little frenetic for me sometimes, a little cheesy other times.
Not a disco fan.
It's OK! I'm not really super-duper into the whole 80's rock scene but I gave it a listen.

Have always loved this album. Sad and some of it haunting.
There are some great hits that are iconic of the '80s on this album, and which I enjoy. There are also sappy songs. I also hear some sillier synth used, a sign of the times. They always kind of remind me of a cornier version of the Cure. Not bad, but not my favorite!
As I told Nathaniel, I heard inspiration in this album for the later-to-come Tenacious D. Very rock n roll for the 80s and beyond era. Made me want to smash a guitar into a TV and then light the curtains on fire.
