Is This It
The StrokesEasily in my top 10 favourite albums anyway. Thoroughly enjoyed the first re-listen of the year, certainly won't be the last.

Pretty good. Inoffensive and decent background music, but nothing really grabbed me. Will listen again, it's the sort of thing that will grow on me, I think.
Totally not my thing, but didn't hate it, much to my surprise. Sent me on a rabbithole of wiki research about the Rastafaris, so that was nice.
More my kind of thing. Nice to hear something other than Teenage Kicks, but can see why that became the big hit. That had a full lyric. The rest of the album was eight lines spread across 16 tracks.

Tough one. Wanted to like this cos I do like the "hits" I've heard despite never really exploring Talking Heads much, but didn't think all that much of this. Was very obviously them, so if that's what you're into, I can see why you'd love it, but I'm not sure Eno/Byrne is for me.
Another one that just isn't for me. The sort of thing I could live with as background music in a decent restaurant, but I've no desire to actually sit and listen to it again.
Enjoyed that. Basically a collection of every big-budget advert's soundtrack over the last 10 years, but it was a really good listen. One I'd never heard of that I'll definitely re-visit.
Enjoyed this a lot. Would never have given them time of day having only previously heard Wake Up Boo, but I guess that's what this is all about.
The odd good tune, but not one I'd rush back too. Doubled this up with the Stooges album that I'd missed on Monday, and felt similar about that - two good songs and a shedload of spooky chanting.
First one of these that I've immediately put back on as it's finished. Every track is similar but different enough for it not to grate. Heavier than stuff I'd usually listen to, but I'm into it.
Not much to say on this. Was very much just okay. Not terrible, not great.
Enjoyed it. Only heard Do You Realize before. Proud of myself for working out it was Father and Son that the first track sounded like.
Another one I'd never heard of but will listen again. Surprised I've never heard her mentioned as an influence for the likes of Taylor Swift.
Enjoyable. Not going to rush back to it, but won't be opposed to listening again.
Too 80s for me, but not terrible.
Not for me.
Superb. One of those where I know I should love Bowie, but I've never properly invested the time in him. Very much enjoyed this and will be exploring more.
The worst so far. One continuous terrible song.
Really, really enjoyed this. Can't believe it came out in 1977, sounded like early Strokes!
Enjoyable. Like Motorhead, one I'd never have listened to either but I was very pleasantly surprised.
Yep, good. Not blown away but something I should definitely have listened to before now.
