1001 Albums Summary

I got a sense of The Who at their purest. Listened to this so loud that i got tinnitus.

Full of life, angst, and Damon Albarn’s beautiful vocals and bright guitars.

It’s full of heart and soul. Incredible guitar work and earnest vocals. Father and Son made me tear up.

An incredible album. Many have heard of Papa Was A Rolling Stone, but many of the tracks on this already short album are striking pieces.

I’ve always listened to their singles, but this album is singlehandedly the best i’ve heard supertramp ever. amazing.

One of my all-time favorite albums .Al Green is hopeful and soulful.

I guess it’s just not for me. I know it’s supposed to be not pleasant, but the only tracks i liked are Kuntz and 22 goin’ on 23

So bad ass. I had listened to Iggy Pop before, but wow are they the essence of cool.

i didn’t know what to expect, really. It came out left field for me, but i found it emotional and harrowing.

Cannot understate the dread and delight of this album. The chirpy bright notes are ominous when juxtaposed with the frantic tunes following. Feels like the end of the world.

Full emotion. Great riffs. Solid.

This feels so authentic to the era it’s paying homage to that i thought it actually belonged to it. A lot of Mick Jagger inspired vocals.

A lot of songs on here felt like they were mimicking the style of other bands; beatles, red hot chili peppers and even Blur. it was enjoyable but ultimately forgettable
