i don’t think i’ve ever actually listened to bowie other than “heroes” and the other, obvious singles. definitely a different vibe than i figured. after some incredibly brief research, i found out that this was a change from bowie’s previous glam rock style and leaned more towards an r&b and soul vibe.

ahh led zeppelin. one of those bands i don't listen to but i don't live in under a rock so i've heard a lot of their songs. we'll see how many i know on this album... i dont love them, i dont hate them. pretty indifferent.

i don’t think i’ve ever listened to joy division. welp, here we go... update: first impression, i’m definitely not into it. i usually love weird 80s synth shit too. not sure what it is about this that i don’t enjoy. actually, i get it now. it’s leaning more towards the cure, the smiths, new order, etc. i don’t really care for that sort of stuff. i can’t finish the album. not a fan.

i definitely, definitely know, love, and appreciate every queen song i’ve heard (although i could live without ever hearing someone song karaoke to bohemian rhapsody ever again). i’ve never heard this album but i’m here for it.
