Moondance
Van MorrisonAbsolutely love the album despite the artist having turned into a full-blown anti-covid whacko.

Fantastic album, really liked it a lot! Prince is an absolute genius.

The album is certainly fun, and the interstitial moments of the band joking around remind us of their youth. The songs are strongly thematic of the era, but not memorable.
Initial listen: Previously a huge Clapton fan, I have found myself uninterested in his style. As I continue through the album, I am just not digging it at all (with the exception of I Shot the Sheriff).
Fantastic album, really liked it a lot! Prince is an absolute genius.
Probably the best album of all time.
I had never heard this album before and was intrigued, having no idea what I would be in for. Upon first listen, I thought of Pink Floyd, some Radiohead, some Beck. By the end of the first listen, I wanted it to start again - a great find!
An album I didn't know existed despite knowing a lot about the Kinks.
While I have respect for Iron Maiden and the work they have done, and I love a few songs, I just don't like the speed metal any more. Not a fan.
Beautiful voice but the tunes didn’t interest me.
A favourite from my childhood - great album
Not as popular as some other albums, but great nonetheless
Absolutely one of my favourite albums of all time. I would listen to this album forever on repeat.
A fantastic album, full of emotion and pain. It reminds me up a time when I spent with a friend who has now passed away. Beautiful album.
Very much not a Beach Boys album, Pacific Ocean Blue is a moody and sometimes hard-edged performance that sounds at times like Elton John and Joe Cocker together. The result is not unpleasant but lacks a musical flow, many of the songs sounding incomplete, or in need of some co-writing. Nonetheless, this is an album of emotions laid bare with depth that emerges after a few listens.
While it is advertised, as a relative of Devo, I found it was an interesting exploration into early electronic music. It was slower building than other artists in the genre. I enjoyed it, though I didn’t find it a new gem.
Really great moody and introspective album. I had recently listed to Pink Moon recently and loved it as well.
Hey, seminal album from this era of music. I enjoy many of the songs, but not all of them. However, the ones that I do enjoy, transporting me back to a time in my life faster than many others.
Very reminiscent of early Singer songwriters like Bob Dylan in Van Morrison. Found some of the songs interesting and still current sounding. The production is excellent for 1965, however, I did not find the overall album to be compelling beyond compatriots of the time.
While I recognize the cultural impact, this album had, and the musician ship included, I simply did not connect with the genre
A legendary album that is fantastic to listen to!
