Better than I expected. Good for a rainy day
Some real fun guitar/riffs. Makes me want to pick up an electric. Pump up music that is very 2001
I like the skits, they made me laugh.
Yes, a classic
Pat Benatar, but punk
I'm reminded of that old man in Love Actually who is trying to get the #1 Christmas hit. I just don't think it's for me.
Started strong. Some cool synth-y stuff. Got a little too modern art-y for me. Felt like I was in a cement gallery with urban street art that everyone understood and I didn't. Big no for the screams on 'Frankie Teardrop'
Fine? Good even? Nothing special that stood out for me
Very late 80s. I feel like if they were a bit more melodic, they could have easily been on iconic 80s movies soundtracks. Some fun bops but none help my attention.
Very good. Very 80s. Lots of hits, sometimes sounds similar but overall lots of bops.
Rock music but with a sitar. The second half of the album you could very well get completely lost in if you were in the right headspace *wink wink*
A classic rock album you can't go wrong with
Didn't do much for me. Title track slaps. Neat to hear where "RTJ" comes from. The beats sound like they would be background beats for every alt 90s/early00s tv show/movie. In other words, I bet Spike Lee loves this album
Listen. I love some of these bops. Big Def Lep fan, but sometimes it's too much and they're not all hits alright? The hits are 5/5 but I can justify giving this album a 5 or even a 4.
The White Stripes meets Sgt Pepper. Too punky for me but kinda fun, some dark carnival vibes
Very good. Very 80s. Lots of hits, sometimes sounds similar but overall lots of bops.
Very 90s hip hop. Lots of brass and harmonica, made it feel sunnier than most of the same music from that decade
Great bass. Great guitar. RATM vibez at times. The guitar riffs really make the album though. Idk what pedals they're using but it's FUN.
I'll be honest, I skipped some songs. Technically I did start them all though. But it's a lot and whiny so 👎 objectively not bad though.
Enya meets Phantom of the Opera. Very poetic, but not in the way I like. Jazzy showtimes was the vibe I got, and then I read she started in Chicago. It's all making sense. Talent but not what I'm into
3.75, thought about rounding up to a 4 but couldn't bring myself to do it. Very cool, ethereal and spooky but steady tempos and big bangs.
Do ya like jazz? And afrofunk? This be for you then
Beach boys, but more "meet me at the doo-op" vibes. Only like 35 min long so quick sweet lil album
Many moments where I thought this was a musical soundtrack. Think Grease but most songs are soppy and sentimental. Not necessarily a bad thing, but thems the vibes. I also didn't know they had so many classics (Help, They Long To Be Close to You, I'll Never Fall In Love Again
Actually some great jams. Very b82s, or I guess very GoGos, don't know what came first. Some classics on this album, will listen again when in the mood for 80s pop
Easy listenin'. Lots of harmonica, makes me feel like I could jam these songs on a porch with me friends on a summer night. I mean I can't, because I'm not the Beatles, but seems the most accessable of their albums. Also only 35min!
