Youth And Young Manhood by Kings of Leon

I love this album! super southern, a bit grungy, really really good. To be fair I am an early Kings of Leon head. The sound hits my ears just right! Whole thing hits, but especially love: Red Morning Light, Happy Alone, California Waiting, Molly's Chamber, Talihina Sky

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers

Snoozefest + all the homies hate Eric Clapton

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Feb 09 2021

shit is fucking fire, I wish it wasn't so early on so I could feel good about giving it a 5. Def a 4.5 for me so I guess ill go 4. Flight test and in the morning of the musicians really stood out to me. will def come back to this one since I liked it considerably more on the second listen as opposed to when Nathan first recommended it

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Feb 10 2021

pretty good, would definitely add most to my sex playlist if I had one ;/ lets get it on is a banger, probably the only one ill come back and listen to

Rubber Soul by Beatles

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Feb 16 2021

too long, I liked the sound but it didn't keep me intrigued enough to listen all the way through, really liked the beginning especially crying

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 18 2021

very very strong 4. songs that are so crushing should not be able to be such bangers–it's simply not fair

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Feb 19 2021

liked it way more than I was expecting too, lots of bangers. had no idea gangster's paradise was a sample either so that's cool

Back In Black by AC/DC
Feb 22 2021

Liked this more than I was expecting to tbh, shoot to thrill was my favorite of the songs I didn't know off the top of my head. dont know how much ill come back to listen but glad I did, strong 3

London Calling by The Clash
Feb 23 2021

Really really liked this, knew a few of the songs but had never listened to the album all the way through

Let It Be by The Replacements
Feb 24 2021

a vibe for sure, super 80s post punk, some weird songs like Gary with a boner lmao. I see the appeal and enjoyed it a good bit.

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Mar 01 2021

felt like I was being serenaded by the druken sailor. not bad, but wouldn't say I really liked it

Mar 02 2021

eh, not a huge fan, nothing stood out to me other than sweet dreams and I don't necessarily love that either

Bossanova by Pixies
Mar 03 2021

was hoping to like this more but was slightly disappointed :(

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mar 09 2021

lots of bangers, most of them I already knew

Ten by Pearl Jam
Feb 12 2022

A little bluesy boring at times, but a lot of the slower stuff is quite nice. Really like black and Jeremy (already saved) Strong 3

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Feb 13 2022

Quite cool how they can mix super brash and really soft/pretty into single songs, some lean too brash for me tho

Risque by CHIC
Mar 03 2022

Holy shit? So incredibly lush and smooth. Had Good Times liked, liked every other song off rip. Will you cry being the second least streamed song is a travesty. My first 5!

Oct 08 2024

So crazy how raw it is, yet how good his vocals sound the entire time. Electric! Not my fav genre

Crazysexycool by TLC
Oct 09 2024

Waterfalls has got to be a top 100 song of all time right? objectively Other than that, kinda boring :/ I wanted to like more than I did. Andre 3000 though!

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Oct 10 2024

For all that Stairway to Heaven has become, it is a darn good song. The big songs on this album are big for a reason. I see the appeal of Black Dog, although it isn't my favorite. Rock and Roll is simple and good. Going to California is my second favorite Led Zeppelin song. Had never heard When the Levee Breaks and it was an insta save. The rest are all kinda forgettable. Light 4 for me

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Oct 13 2024

Energetic and fun but don't see myself coming back to listen, cool that he's got that tik Tok song doe!

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Oct 15 2024

Snoozefest + all the homies hate Eric Clapton

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies

These guys would have gone crazy if the Beatles weren't around

Sheet Music by 10cc
Oct 21 2024

Goofy album, kinda gave MGMT vibes. Didn't think I would like at first but ended up enjoying quite a bit! Fav song: Baron Samedi

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Oct 26 2024

Woah! Had to listen since CT gave a folky album a 5 and it did not disappoint. Really enjoyed, very strong 4 that I could see getting bumped with a few more listens. Insta liked all except a Sailor's life (of non bonus tracks)

Nov 05 2024

Is Not All Who Wander are Lost ironic? I continue to think Lana is just alright. The songs I like I really like. The others I find really boring. dance till we die and let me love you good.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Nov 22 2024

Much more rock oriented than I was expecting. Very Hendrixesque. First song is incredible. Also Rill Rill sample! Pretty good but lots of the middle got lost in the shuffle.

Youth And Young Manhood by Kings of Leon
Dec 03 2024

I love this album! super southern, a bit grungy, really really good. To be fair I am an early Kings of Leon head. The sound hits my ears just right! Whole thing hits, but especially love: Red Morning Light, Happy Alone, California Waiting, Molly's Chamber, Talihina Sky

Man this is so good. It does such a good job of keeping to the 'intergalactic' theme, while being quite diverse in its sound. Really enjoyed. Liked Five years, Soul Love, Moonage Daydream, It aint easy, Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette city, Rock n Roll Suicice Had Starman and Hang on to Yourself pre saved

Dec 25 2024

I know this is super influential for a lot of current bands that I like, but this was largely sleepy for me. Liked a few songs (You aint going nowhere, nothing was delivered) but other than that pretty meh. 2.5

Talk Talk Talk by The Psychedelic Furs
Dec 28 2024

All the songs sound super similar. I happen to like the sound so it's okay, but gets pretty repetitive. Really like the horn sections in a few of the songs. Sounds like early kings of Leon were influenced by this stuff

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Dec 29 2024

almost gave this a 1 but bittersweet symphony is that good. Super duper disappointed – had high hopes this would be enjoyable (similar to oasis). Instead was very boring. Lucky man is the only other song with at least an above average catchy hook.
