Popular Reviews

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden

One of my favorite albums so far with plenty of songs I have added to my regular playlists. Prowler and Phantom of the Opera especially hit home with me.

Solid album, didn't like really stand out for my tastes but perfectly neutral music, I feel like it would be hard for anyone to dislike this.

Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake & Palmer

A wild album. Classical music flowing into rock, that suddenly opens up with extraterrestrial funk at times. But the construction of the album itself truly is solid.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon

Very much enjoy some Paul Simon. Songs like Me and Julio down by the schoolyard is a classic. And a lot of these other songs were surprisingly nice.

Abbey Road by Beatles

I mean shit, its the Beatles, and one of their most famous albums if not one of the THE most famous albums from any band or individual. Shit is pretty good with three or more classic hits.

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Mar 02 2021

Not particularly my jam most of the time, however if I were raging drunk I could fight God and or the British to this album with glee.

In The Wee Small Hours by Frank Sinatra
Mar 03 2021

Hella old man music but its nice for filling the quiet while doing HW or something.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Mar 04 2021

Enjoy the classic/soft rock kinda vibes. Will definitely listen to this again.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Mar 08 2021

Not what I expected right off the bat, but I need to listen to it again sometime

Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Mar 10 2021

Well it is certainly...interesting. The themes of nuclear war between Pakistan and India is clearly interesting but it is hard to get past some of the musical features to listen to this again.

Protection by Massive Attack
Mar 12 2021

Hard to pin down album. Some of it i vibed with. But didn’t stand out to me.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 15 2021

A lot of quiet acoustic guitar and that Springsteen grumble. Not too bad, but its hard to get excited by it. Definitely a downer rather than an upper.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Mar 16 2021

A classic album that is the quintessential Beach Boys album with that 60s vibe.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Mar 17 2021

Very much enjoy some Paul Simon. Songs like Me and Julio down by the schoolyard is a classic. And a lot of these other songs were surprisingly nice.

Mar 19 2021

Solid album, didn't like really stand out for my tastes but perfectly neutral music, I feel like it would be hard for anyone to dislike this.

Mar 23 2021

It’s not bad and Ice T is a classic. But I’ve enjoyed some of the other hip hop/rap I’ve gotten more

Life's Too Good by The Sugarcubes
Mar 26 2021

Gotta say, not a huge fan. I can get by some of the weird experimental sounds and vocals from some bands, but I had no clue what was happening.

Mar 29 2021

Couldnt finish all of it but what I did listen to was a strange mixed bag. Gotta say the lyrics were uh. Kinda strange at times.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Apr 01 2021

One of my favorite albums so far with plenty of songs I have added to my regular playlists. Prowler and Phantom of the Opera especially hit home with me.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Apr 02 2021

Album was pretty fire honestly, big fan of the Jamaican versions, especially of Concrete Jungle. Will listen to again for the vibes.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Apr 05 2021

This was a quality album, my brain has new elevator music to play when I'm zoning out now. Desafinado was especially good.

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Apr 06 2021

Shit was popping ngl. Would fight god with Deceptacon playing in the background.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Apr 07 2021

I mean shit, its the Beatles, and one of their most famous albums if not one of the THE most famous albums from any band or individual. Shit is pretty good with three or more classic hits.

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Apr 09 2021
Dirty by Sonic Youth
Apr 12 2021
Parallel Lines by Blondie
Apr 13 2021

Listening through the whole album made favorites of mine such as Heart of Glass and One Way or Another seem even better. Some other good songs too like Sunday Girl and Pretty Baby.

Snivilisation by Orbital
Apr 14 2021

Eh very spacey, pretty strange, probably won't return to it.

Hysteria by Def Leppard
Apr 15 2021

This is some good rock, Pour Some Sugar on Me? Banger, if not a little strange to play in public but a good song.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Apr 16 2021

Reminds me of like half of all Fallout music is like.

Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Apr 21 2021

A wild album. Classical music flowing into rock, that suddenly opens up with extraterrestrial funk at times. But the construction of the album itself truly is solid.

Apr 22 2021

Nice mix of rock and folk, pretty short album, but Empty Pages and John Barleycorn are good songs.

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Apr 27 2021

Well the Grateful Dead are great, but mostly as a live band, probably should've looked for a live version of this album, but oh well.

If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle & Sebastian
Apr 28 2021

Me and the Major and Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying are probably my two favorite pieces. Feels like a pretty good late night album.

Apr 29 2021

Honestly thought it was gonna be different based off of Take on Me coming from this album, but a lotta synth of course, very 80s

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
May 04 2021

What starts off as mostly jazzy instrumentals eventually blends in some soul and even some R/B which I gotta say, surprised me in a good way.

En-Tact by The Shamen
May 05 2021
Nothing's Shocking by Jane's Addiction
May 07 2021

One of those albums that made me find a song I had heard a million times but never knew the name. So Jane Says is that song for me.

May 12 2021

Loving the new wave/synth from this album. I have of course heard some Simple Minds. But not a ton. Now it’s time to look through more of their discography.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
May 13 2021

Damn. This is a quality album that clearly shows off ZZ Top’s iconic style. A lot of great hits and a great overall album.

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
May 14 2021

A very dynamic album, switching up styles almost every song. Songs go from broody and sulking to angelic to Latin inspired, and more.

Goodbye And Hello by Tim Buckley
May 17 2021

A clearly influential folk rock/psychedelic rock album it mostly centers on social issues, especially war. Good message, good album, maybe not quite my style of music however.

White Ladder by David Gray
May 31 2021

This is clearly a good album, and damn popular. For people into the mellow acoustic sound this is great. I'm not totally into it, but i can appreciate it separately.

1999 by Prince
Jun 02 2021

Pretty much every song can be a banger, each exemplifying the funk that is Prince. Electronic elements, guitar, weird studio effects, and of course the lyrics from Prince himself. All of it lends to a great overall album with wonderful singles in it.

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Jun 08 2021

It certainly makes sense how this album accelerated Michael Jackson to the stars as a solo artist. Its complex sound and catchy rhythms and baselines pair excellently with the incredible range of vocals from Jackson. I frequently listen to a lot of these songs from this album.
