Popular Reviews

I listened to the opening track like 7 times, I cannot believe how catchy it was. The whole album was a fun time, and it was among one of my favorite ones I have listened to so far. HELL YEAH VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY.

Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys
May 05 2021

Interesting album. Not huge into traditional British/Celtic music, with a few exceptions, but their more rock oriented songs were cool. This Land is a classic with a great spin, and some of the more instrumental interludes were cool. World Party and Sweet Thing were a good couple of songs at the beginning.

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
May 06 2021

Sets the tone from the beginning. Wasn’t expecting an album of ballads, and wouldn’t expect to like one, but this is interesting. House of the Rising Sun was great. All in all an enjoyable, relaxing listening experience.

Live At The Star Club, Hamburg by Jerry Lee Lewis
May 07 2021

Very upbeat and exciting. Sounds a lot like Piano Bar at OKC, which made it a very fun and cool listen.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
May 10 2021

Pretty soulful.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
May 11 2021

Nice satire on consumerism, with a few catchy “commercials” inserted into the album. Odorono has a great riff, and is a lot of fun. I Can See for Miles is an obvious favorite. I had a lot of fun here.

Dookie by Green Day
May 13 2021

Dookie!

Quiet Life by Japan
May 14 2021

All Tomorrow’s Parties was catchy, kind of relaxing. Not a bad album, but probably not my bag.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
May 17 2021

I really liked a lot of this album. Some of the songs were familiar, and a lot of other ones were fun first listens. I enjoyed listening to Electric Warrior.
