Hadn't heard before, some great songs! Very Radiohead like

Great album. Like the lo-hi aspects to it (leans into it more than their later albums). Some tracks I might cut, as I didn't enjoy them as much. And of course, Clint Eastwood is a banger

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Jan 23 2026

Not for me. Recognise Our House and House of Fun. Not sure I quite get "ska"

Jan 24 2026

As expected, fantastic vocals. Songs felt a little samey across the album, but loved it either way. Respect being the highlight, though I also liked Save Me a bit (hadn't heard it before and it was a bit different)

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Jan 27 2026

Another "cool" jazz album by Miles Davis. Not quite up there with my favourites of his. The tracks don't stick in my head as much as anything from Kind of Blue, but would listen again

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Jan 28 2026

Not something I would typically listen to, but was pretty good

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jan 29 2026

Great album

Feb 10 2026

Great album, with Knights of Cydonia being the highlight (fantastic live). Also felt this was the point where they started moving away from their sound from the last two albums.

Other

Album origins are grouped into three buckets: US, UK, and everything else. “Other” means the artists you rate highest are from outside the US and UK.
