Really enjoyed the Portuguese backing and style, not a big fan of Sinatra’s voice though

Definitely grew on me, once I got past the vocals and clangy... everything. Heartland was a good one

Kinda exactly what you’d expect. Not bad, but not remarkable. The female vocalist had a very nice voice though

She’s got a unique voice, and the strings pair really well with it. A little like Joanna Newsom. Second half of the album didn’t do much for me though

Really mixed thoughts on this one. There were some cool grandiose bits mixed in with bizarre and extremely German bits.

I liked the brass but none of the songs really stood out to me. Had a nice general groove though

This one is hard to rate; vocals sound like they were recorded during a drunk karaoke night in a British pub, and every song misses the mark in terms of lyrics and mood by such hilariously wide margins, it deserves to be treated as a masterpiece.

I liked the heavy, simple rhythms, and the use of organ. But most of the songs were ultimately kind of boring

Pretty good album, as expected. I consistently appreciate the polish on Bowie‘s albums, there’s always the right amount of instruments and vocals. Several good tracks

Lacks variation in style, lots of repetition and drones. Made for a pretty boring listen

Really relaxing. I have no real complaints about it, I just probably won’t listen to it again any time soon. Except “I Shot the Sheriff”, of course.
