Brilliant. The more I hear it the better it gets! This was my first album in the User's Choices back on June 18, 2024... It's January - and I'm finally getting around to rating it. Been loving it since I first heard it.
5/5
New for me. My kind of music though.
2019, Post-Punk
Standouts: Too Real, Big,
3.75
Filipino-American. Wasn't expecting to read that about her. Such a great and at times powerful, voice and the album is wonderful. I look forward to getting to know this one better.

Surprisingly good. Not my go-to genre, so I go into an album like this with a bit of prejudice because I think I'm not going to like it. Happy to be wrong.
Never heard of them or MF DOOM (RIP).
Thanks for introducing me!

One of the best of the 1980s. Billy is more than just THE STROKE. Great guitars on this whole album and Nobody Know (Song for John Lennon) is so perfect. His next album had some good tracks but this was absolutely his best.
Strong FIVE for me.
So good! Just as good as the debut album, might be better? Love every song.
So glad to see this on the list!
What a wild ride! New to me, but I loved it. Don't know if I would get sick of it after a while, but for now it's a 4.5! Thanks to whomever submitted this one!
Fantastic. Really loved it.
Really surprised this one was not on the original list. When this came out it was the biggest thing on the planet. She was sexy and talented and the songs were fun and exciting. The album still holds up and is a blast to listen to again after all these years.
5/5
Pigs, Dogs, Sheep... It's really a classic but not quite as good as the two preceding albums (Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here). But it is still a great listen.
4.5/5
Seeing this album on the list made me think that I was surprised that Night and Day wasn't on this list. This is a good album, but Night and Day is classic to me. Maybe someone else can add that one! (hint!).
Is She Really Going out with Him has always been one of my favorite songs by Joe Jackson. Solid album. I'm a fan.
4/5
A really nice listen. I have heard of John Coltrane before, but don't know Johnny Hartman. It isn't something I would ever listen to again (on purpose) but I appreciate good music - and there is no doubt that this is GOOD. Hard to rate but I'll give it a 3.5 of 5 only because I don't plan to relisten to it. I was really glad I got the chance to hear it once though. Thanks to the submitter.
At first I thought it was cool, but by then end I couldn't stand it. What a mess.
Pretty good. Lots of great memories listening to it again. Not as great as the first album but still a good listen.
Cool beats. 4/5 Great addition to the list.
Wow. That was fun! 4/5
Perfect for the day.
Classic by one of the best bands.
Wow great listen. I liked it very much and will continue to listen to this one. Thanks!
Song for whoever brought back some memories if my time living in Europe. One of my favorite songs ever is by Beautiful South, A Little Time. Not on this album but they do have a great sound for the era. I’ll definitely keep listening.
Brings back some memories
Really love the album! It brings back such great memories!
The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to ine they say….. really interesting, Mars, no, but a whole universe… yes.
A well deserved add to this project! The album includes Time in a Bottle - one of his most iconic songs. The song wasn't originally released as a single, but after the tragic death of Jim in a plane crash in 1973, the song was released and topped the chart in the USA. I've listened to Jim's greatest hits album many times and he has such a good and familiar voice. This album contains many songs I never listened to before but every song sounds like I've known it my whole life.... RIP Jim.

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you
-Time in a Bottle
Never Too Much, A House is Not a Home, Don't You Know That?, Sugar and Spice. Full of really nice tracks.
4/5
I like it, it is different and interesting. Kind of takes me back to the 80s.
Someone commented that the album was too long. It's 59 minutes long - which is a standard album in the 2010s-2020s. The bonus material doesn't count - it's BONUS - if you like it and want more, then listen to it. It isn't part of the actual album.
I'll give it a solid 4/5.
Thanks to the submitter. :)
Seems ok to listen to once...but it isn't something I'd add to my personal playlist. "I'm too old for this $hit" - Danny Glover is Lethal Weapon 2.

A cross between Yiddish Cabaret and German Carnival music gives this album a pretty unique sound.
Kind of fun to listen to, not sure I'd listen to it regularly.
Standouts: Six Million Germans, Yosl Ber / A Patriot, Dumai/Think,
I always enjoy some RHCP. This is not one of their best but still pretty good. None of the songs are real memorable, but My Friends and Aeroplane did sound vaguely familiar.
Standouts: My Friends, Aeroplane, Tearjerker, Warped, Front Kick
3.5
I was shocked how much I liked this one.
Standouts: Feel Like Makin' Love, Untitled (How Does it Feel), Devil's Pie, Send it On.
Can sound a bit like Prince at time, but really has his own smooth style. Enjoyable for sure.
3.5
Just Beautiful....
Standouts: Space Walk, Nice Weather For Ducks

Seems like a typically good alt rock album. I think the more I listen the better it will get. 3/5 for now.
Ambient, triphop, backbeat describe this album. It is a really nice listen.

Jazz from 1982 and it works really well. Very nice, enjoyable listen.

Fantastic album. I've listened to it several times over the past week and have fallen in love with the voices and style.

He's always good. Never great, but good. :)
I was 10 when short People came out. Good fun. Not sure today's generation could handle it....

Nice. A little show-toony...

So bizarre! This is way better than expected.
Ovo je stvarno dobar album. Uživala sam slušajući ga. Hvala što si podijelio ovo malo blago!
Maybe the submitter is 12?

There isn't a Wikipedia page for the album so I am trusting that I listened to right album/songs on YouTube. What I head was good.

Decent for a genre I don't get into much
Cover: 4/5. Definitely unique. Might be the second best penis on a cover behind Nirvana's Nevermind.
1989, Industrial rock
The more I listen the more I like it. I'm still not much of a fan of Industrial rock, but I'm giving it a chance.
Chamber Pop from 1996
Best Tracks: Sparkle Up, Campers in Control

Smooth
Easily a 3/5. It is a pretty good listen.

The album cover is nice, unique, interesting.
The music is in French, so lyrics.... I have no idea, but the music is very nice to listen to. I enjoyed the album as a whole and would listen again.
