It's solid Elton John, it has Levon and Tiny Dancer right off the top. Those are A grade Elton John, the rest is kinda average? Makes me wonder if EJ is one of those artists where the hits are really all you need? Idk. I give it a like, but not like a great. Will figure out rating system tomorrow.
Pretty solid Jazz/Rock fusion album. However, I just wasn't really in the mood for it today. Worth revisiting another time when it might strike my fancy more, could easily see it being a 4.
I liked it a lot! Great kinda spacey psychedelic dream rock. Probably excellent for watching the rain on a cool morning.
I liked it a lot, kind of like American Football but via Radiohead. 4
Wow I didn't know they made a more country / honkey tonk version of Honkey Tonk Women. I dig it. Probably my favorite collection of Rolling Stones songs? 4
Excellent Album I really enjoyed. Cover of Highway '61 Revisted == FUCK YESSSSSS
Honestly? Given all the positive things I have heard about this album... I was kinda underwhelmed. That being said, I also have heard Lemonade first so that could very well be biasing my opinion. 3
YOU PUT THE LIME IN THE COCONUT AND DRINK IT ALL UP. (Honestly the rest of the album was pretty good) 4
Eh... like early Beatles so its alright but not like... amazing. My Generation === fantastic though. Saves it from a 2 3
Hell yes. Great 70's female punk album. Great cover of Helter Skelter. 4.5
Solid House album, more upbeat but not as good as Dummy by portishead IMO. Really with I could give 3.5. 4
I love queen, but although they made a lot of really great songs, they also made a lot more not great ones. I have never thought that Queen makes good Albums, and Sheer Heart Attack did not change my opinion. 1
Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9... Number 9...
It's always tough to review an album like this because it was probably incredibly influential... which means it sounds like a lot of music that came later... which means to me it sounds kinda meh. Probably would grow on me with further listens.
Excuse me, can I have attention of the whole class for just a minute? The Slim Shady LP is great, but not Eminem's best. 4
Mmmmmm hell yeah. this album is a shining star.
lol I kept thinking that this album title was a play on "that one song I couldn't remember the actual name of".... then the last song came on and I was like... oh this is where that comes from. overall 3
Good, just feels a lot like a rehash of "It takes a nation of millions". 3
Honestly, too long. Some nice blues rock but there is better.
