Solid album. I remember liking the singles when this came out and umming and ahhing over buying the CD - listening to the whole thing in the shop. Didn't buy it though.
Totally get why this is on the list, not really my thing. Grew up with dad playing it so I know heaps of the songs. Family just asked why I was playing the Cadbury song. Sigh. God Only Knows is a work of genius.
Easy 4 for me. Has all the stuff I like from the mid 80s - layered synths and ethereal vocals. Ultimately, I think The Glove's Blue Sunshine from the year before (1983) hits some of this stuff better. Also, I wish the album had ended with Cicely.
Lots of great memories! How do I know so many songs? So glad I listened. But won't listen again by choice.
Forgot how incredible this album was, and how good it still is! Lyrics are fantastic. Beats are perfection.
Wow! This must have been played to me heaps when I was little. Thanks, Dad! That opening track is magnificent.
Didn't expect to enjoy this album as much as I did. Entertaining guitar from Eric Clapton throughout.
I was late to get into Sonic Youth. It wasn't until 98/99 until something clicked and they started sounding awesome to me. Layers of guitars and feedback with the contrast of crisp clear vocals. Love it.
Great album, I've enjoyed it less as I've got older, but in the early 90s I listened to this over and over. Rhythm Nation and Miss You Much are still top songs.
Not really a Dylan fan. Sorry. Was good to listen to.
A personal fave! Love it.

A good friend gifted me this album with no context in a time I needed it most. Beautiful. 5 stars.
I recall driving to JB-Hifi in Woden to pick this up on release weekend and listening to it in the car on the way home. When 'Stay Another Season' hit I couldn't believe my ears... did Madonna okay that sample? Apparently she did. Wow!
First album I bought for myself on CD. So much gold here!
Absolute 5. For a long time my fave album by The Cure. It's too dark for me to enjoy any more.
The highs on this are fantastic. As is how it was made. Not all tracks hit home for me.
Love this. I need to listen to it more - went through a stage of listening to all his stuff in the late 90s.
There was a time when Janey and I played this album almost every day. Incredible opening track.
Solid 4. Da Funk and Around the World are fantastic.
Every track is gold.
Classic rock just the way I don't like it.
