Let's Get Killed by David Holmes

Honestly terrible. Literally noise with a beat behind it.

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada

Noise. Just noise. Turned off after the second track. Not interested in "nostalgia" or whatever these guys were trying to go for. Beyond boring.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Nov 18 2021

Decent classic jazz. I feel like I've heard some of these songs in passing before. Overall, interesting to start picking up on some of the common key changes in jazz and to hear the Latin influence as well. Might start messing around with these key changes.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Nov 19 2021

Definitely my favorite (and only one I actually like) album from Jefferson anything. Great classic songs on this album. I am not a fan of their more dylan-esque folksy sounding songs though. White Rabbit is a masterpiece.

Let England Shake by PJ Harvey
Nov 22 2021

Honestly awful. I get the protest song vibes but the vocalist was not good and the music was generic. Couldn't finish the album.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Nov 25 2021

Alright but not something I would choose to listen too. Much too slow and somber for most of the songs. Not bad, just not something I like.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Dec 22 2021

Definitely not something I like. Mostly ambient noise with little differentiation between songs. Could not finish the entire thing because I found it boring.

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Dec 23 2021

I understand that this was pretty definitive of this era of rock but i'm not a big fan. There was a lot of really long psychadelic songs that again made it hard to tell each song apart. Not great.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Dec 28 2021

Definitely a classic. I enjoyed pretty much every song on this album besides the well-known hits. I actually pulled some songs for my personal Playlist from this one. Best one in a while.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Dec 29 2021

Good classic jazz. Had no serious problems with this. I have yo say though that the bass improv was the worst part, which was sad.

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Dec 30 2021

Not bad but I got bore with the slow songs. Nice to hear some pretty crazy guitar parts though.

Jan 03 2022

Liked this. Good background music for work but was also interesting enough to keep me entertained. Might be something I would listen to again.

Heroes by David Bowie
Jan 04 2022

I have to say that this album I did not like as much as the last bowie one. Not as memorable and there was not a song that stood out to me. Still had that classic sound of his but not my favorite.

Let's Get Killed by David Holmes
Jan 05 2022

Honestly terrible. Literally noise with a beat behind it.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 06 2022

This is a classic. Great songs on the album. I feel like I don't quite like it as much as some of his other ones bit this is still a rock great.

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Jan 07 2022

Noise. Just noise. Turned off after the second track. Not interested in "nostalgia" or whatever these guys were trying to go for. Beyond boring.

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Jan 10 2022

Not my style of music but it was listenable. I thought the more obvious mix of country and modern pop was interesting because it's uncommon to see both put together

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Jan 11 2022

Definitely a classic. I generally like the beastie boys.

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Jan 13 2022

I found this one very boring. Couldn't get through more than a couple of songs. Not into the 80's soft rock sound.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Jan 14 2022

I appreciate the band... just not this album...
