Since I Left You
The AvalanchesSo damn great.
So damn great.
Honestly really like this. Feels more like a Zeppelin album and not too heavy. Changes is a GD ballad for cryin' out loud!
Several great songs, a lot of bloat.
An indie classic. Feels like hanging out at a cool wine bar.
Some WILD saxophone stuff on Your Latest Trick. Lots of good songs though.
Honestly great.
Obv. one of the greats. Jump Into the Fire is an unexpectedly fun jam!
Fun punk album. Less aggressive than some of its contemporaries.
Love The Walker Brothers, but this didn't work quite as well for me. The lyrics were too silly and dated in a few spots. Hell of a voice though.
So damn great.
To think that this was "hard rock" is almost laughable. Pretty even record, No More Mr. Nice Guy is the standout of course. Mary Ann almost sounds like it's a McCartney song!
Amazingly progressive and political. Fun Zeppelin sample on one of the tracks.
Silky smooth.
Couldn't make myself care about this album.
It's fine.
I refuse to listen to this.
More produced than I remembered it being. It's clear that the band can actually play their instruments, even if a lot of the songs are pretty similar in tempo and execution.
I wouldn't say this is Costello's finest record, but it's much better than I expected for a later-day album.
Really impressive considering this was bleeding-edge technology at the time. Even if it was made today, it would still be impressive! Very good working music with lots of replay-ability.
