Viva Hate
MorrisseyVery moody and I felt like it wasn’t very cohesive. Not really my cup of tea.

I didn’t realize “Where is My Mind” was by them, so that was a nice break in the chaos that is Surfer Rosa. My brows were furrowed trying to figure out most of it. It sounded a lot like some of early punk albums, unfinished and raw. All over the place. Wouldn’t listen to it again.
I really enjoyed how this was done live and “on the spot” and you could hear her interacting with the crowd. It brings the album to life. She has an incredible voice.
Got excited when I saw 1997, but a bit of a letdown. I wasn’t a big fan of the instrumental/experimental parts.
Fantastic example of hardcore punk, a genre I enjoy. Lyrics were hard to hear in some songs which is common with a lot of punk bands early recordings. I will be listening to more Minor Threat.
I enjoyed how it was recorded live and dubbed over in the studio, it gives the album a very unique feel.
I really didn’t care for his voice. Some songs were okay, but for the most part I was bored.
I’m giving it a 4 because I love the song Heads Will Roll (remix is better)! Overall I expected higher energy for every song because I was only familiar with that song, but I did enjoy it.
0. I had to shut it off.
I appreciate some NIN but this album wasn’t for me.
You can tell how much Johnny enjoyed playing there. Great album. 4.5 stars.
Solid album
I’m convinced Johnny Cash killed someone and is ridden with guilt.
Very Alice in Wonderland-esque
Some songs are definitely better than others.
Very eclectic
Very ahead of it’s time.
Fantastic album!
Terrific album!!!
