The gift is absolutely bonkers

Ok so definitely a mixed bag for me Really interesting to hear basically an a cappella project from an artist so celebrated for her fusion of electronica/experimental dance music + pop music. But it still feels very singularly Björk Can’t help but miss some of the electronic elements of her prev body of work. The highlights of the album (to me) are songs that meld electronic instrumentals with the layered choral vocals - wish there was more of that Sorry to say it was lowkey giving pentatonix to me at some points

Good vibes, enjoyed this one. Would not be surprised if they were a big influence for modern day surf psych rock

First track — kraftwerk influence ? Portishead 💙 Interesting blend of electronica/techno/funk

appreciated the technical elements, loved songs with time signature switches, a little too “wall of noise” for me overall.

Yassss carpenters Lowkey the blueprint for Billie and Finneas Not my fave album of theirs but still good 3.6/5
