Odelay by Beck
Aug 18 2022

Weird overall. Definitely feels like a 2006 album rather than 1996, putting it well ahead of it's time in terms of sound. Overall, has some strengths, but doesn't really blow me away anywhere. Carries me through, but never really wows me.

Aug 19 2022

Just pure ass folk music. Blowin in the wind is a classic, but the rest of the album is just forgettable. I did not really listen to the lyrics though. I'm sure there's stuff deeper but musically I just find it boring.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Aug 22 2022

Incredibly soulful and impressive. The passion and heatedness of the message he is trying to convey perfectly pairs with the funky music.

Aug 23 2022

Decent album. Solid all the way through, can't complain, but nothing that blew me away.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Aug 25 2022

Nothing too special. Good rock and roll, but nothing that compels me personally.

Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective
Aug 26 2022

Always been a band and album I felt like I should connect more with, given genre, but never been my favourite. Feels like you need to be in a certain state of mind to just abolutely vibe with it.

Synchronicity by The Police
Aug 29 2022

Don't much care for a lot of the songs on the album, but Synchronocity I and II are bangers, through and through, and make the album deserve it's place.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Aug 30 2022

An instant classic. So much soul in this album, the drums are just off the charts. Everyone is on point and just an incredible experience.

Lazer Guided Melodies by Spiritualized
Aug 31 2022

A really beautiful record. Earliest I've heard sounds like this, that really drive a sound that lives on to this day.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Sep 01 2022

Always a classic. Very nostalgic

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Sep 05 2022

Started promising, and had some good tracks scattered throughout, but just did hold my attention just a lot of the more improvisational bits.

Horses by Patti Smith
Sep 06 2022

Just didn't interest me.

Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear
Sep 07 2022

A solid classic.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Sep 08 2022

Definitely an interesting album with some powerful options, but nothing that makes me want to go back.

Suede by Suede
Sep 09 2022

Decent brit rock from the 90s,but I feel like other bands did it better.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Sep 12 2022

Always a good listen, just generally a solid album, though not one of my faves.

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Sep 13 2022

Fantastic album, very interesting

Abraxas by Santana
Sep 14 2022

Great guitar work across the board. Very fun stuff.

Eagles by Eagles
Sep 16 2022

Eh. It's the eagles. SOme good stuff, some not so good stuff.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Sep 19 2022

Stellar record, a real surprise. Great tunes.

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Sep 22 2022

Beautiful tunes, and so different that what I'm used to with Leonard Cohen (Hallelujah).

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Sep 26 2022

Just such a great album. A forever classic.

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Sep 28 2022

Some very cool stuff in here. Not something I would listen to regularly, but some very important ideas.
