1001 Albums Summary

Weird overall. Definitely feels like a 2006 album rather than 1996, putting it well ahead of it's time in terms of sound. Overall, has some strengths, but doesn't really blow me away anywhere. Carries me through, but never really wows me.

Just pure ass folk music. Blowin in the wind is a classic, but the rest of the album is just forgettable. I did not really listen to the lyrics though. I'm sure there's stuff deeper but musically I just find it boring.

Incredibly soulful and impressive. The passion and heatedness of the message he is trying to convey perfectly pairs with the funky music.

Decent album. Solid all the way through, can't complain, but nothing that blew me away.

Always been a band and album I felt like I should connect more with, given genre, but never been my favourite. Feels like you need to be in a certain state of mind to just abolutely vibe with it.

Don't much care for a lot of the songs on the album, but Synchronocity I and II are bangers, through and through, and make the album deserve it's place.

An instant classic. So much soul in this album, the drums are just off the charts. Everyone is on point and just an incredible experience.

A really beautiful record. Earliest I've heard sounds like this, that really drive a sound that lives on to this day.
