1001 Albums Summary

Too angsty for me. Prefer Kid A.

Great album. I do prefer No Guru, No Method, No Teacher.

Good music for writing a report. Setting Sun is great and you get the bonus of Noel Gallagher.

Of course, you have to love I Want You to Want Me.

Not the first thing I would listen to unless I seriously wanted to depress myself. Though I did like More Than This.

While listening to this all I could think "There better be some Flying Burrito Brothers or New Riders" in the 1001.

I remember why I started listening to jazz about this time.

Not exactly Howlin' Wolf.

Love Marr's guitar in The Queen is Dead. Bummer that I listened to it on the day that QE2 passed.

Great funk. Amazing musicians. This is music that gets you moving.

I would have given a higher score had I heard them live in a Galway pub on St. Paddy's Day. Prefer The Chieftains.

This is why I didn't watch MTV in the 80s. I would be really upset if my album did not make the top 1001, when this does.

I missed this group in the late 70s-early 80s. If their music made it to Canada, I was asleep. Love Hey, Little Rich Girl. No doubt, the band has influenced other groups.

Fire and Rain is one of the greatest songs. I remember the first time and with whom I heard it the first time. Good memories. And, Carol King playing piano.

Fun album. You have to love Motown.
