1001 Albums Summary

Aretha at her best! Lady Soul is one of her best. Good to Me as I Am to You is one of the least recognized masterpieces of Franklin.

I really wanted to not like this album but it is great. First time listening to LCD and definitely going to listen to more of their stuff.

Not my cup tea, but I respect the genre.r a I did hear about the Roots and that says something. Bottom line - mid of the scale rating out of ignorance about the genre.

Good old Rock and roll. I wish I was in this concert in Hamburg!

Simple hard rock. not my first choice when want to listen to this kind of music, but quite good.

60's jazz that did not loose anything over the years. Great organ and sax work.

One of the greatest African singers of all times. Good music but I like her later music better. Great example of how you get better with the years.

Personally, I prefer the more dreamy, less grungy sound of Sonic Youth but it doesn't mean Dirty is not a good album.
