Long, boring, slow, samey. Some of the songs are “pretty” but the lyrics seem nonsensical and meandering. The “prettiness” wears off quickly.
Lots of good instrumental sections that slightly overstay their welcome. Not a lot of lyrical parts on any of the tracks, but I don't think that's the point. Overall pretty good but not a genera of music I typically enjoy so that brings down my rating.
Decent alterative (?) late 80s album. So interesting song-to-song variation that doesn't stray too far outside the genera. The album ends with 2 "long" songs (8 and almost 10 minutes) that unfortunately drag tremendously (especially the 10 minute one) and bring down my rating of the album.
The are bizzare to bad at times. The music underneath comes off as a little boring but it usually suits the song overall. Some decent songs, some pretty bad songs. Just meh, would give 2.5 if I could.
I believe I dislike new wave. I really dislike the vocalist's voice. The only song I liked on the album was "English Rose" which appears to be the most popular song on the album. If I could, I would probably give this 1.5 stars.
Not really a fan of this style of music generally. Decent rapping is sort of sparse on this album which I think is contributing to liking it less because I don't at all care for the jazzy horns that are found throughout basically every song. Also some of the sound effects or whatever you want to call them sound really dated at this point.
Boring, greatly dislike this style of music. The fact that it's pretty short is the only thing stopping it from being a 1.
Pretty much all the songs on this album I would classify as feeling "nice" and soothing. However, because it's just vocals and an acoustic guitar for the whole album, it's still a bit boring and made me kinda sleepy. Still, overall I would call this a positive listening experience.
Better than I thought it would be because I generally hate the Beach Boys and that style of music but there were a couple interesting creative songs or parts of songs. Still only a 2 though.
When listening to this album it's clear there's a lot of talent behind this music. However, because I don't really like blues at all, I don't think I really have the ability to appreciate it as it probably should. Also, probably due to the unfamiliarity I have with the genre, I feel like every song sounds exactly the same to the point where I was unsure where one song started and another ended or even when the album ended (because of Spotify's autoplay). This would be 2.5 if possible.
The songs had weird titles and lyrics that feel like they're about nothing. Also most of the songs have a 60s pop sound that I dislike like the early Beatles.
I like metal, but I don't really like Slipknot that much, therefore this album was mostly just okay. The only song I kinda actually like is "Sulfur" because Joey Jordison's drumming is fantastic, and it's pretty good if not underutilized throughout this album. The stuff that sounds overtly "numetal" on this album also brings it down in my eyes. This is exemplified by the annoying and cringey record scratching that dips into the abomination that is rap rock. This album is also super long. It has just as many tracks as a pop album, but each is almost twice as long. My problems with this album are capped off with most of the ending tracks devolving into embarrassing "emo" tracks with lyrics that sound like they came from a 14-year-old after their first break up with a person they had been with for like 2 weeks.
I'd like to think that it's possible to include almost any instrument into any genera of music and find a way 5o make it interesting. However, listening to an album of bongo focused music is where I draw the line. It gets a 2 just because of the talent of the musicians involved.
Most of the songs are catchy, fast, and to the point. I cannot, however, get over my dislike of the southern/countryish sound or feel of the music. So there isn't a ton wrong with this album per se, but the style of music is not for me.
Pretty good, I'm pleasantly surprised. Most of the tracks on here are upbeat and fun to listen to. This would definitely be a 3.5 if I could give it that if only because from what I've heard of The Ramones, they seem to be a better version of this band's music.
I find this kind music is only ok in short time frames kind of in the background. So to intently listen to this entire album where every song is like 7 minutes was quite a chore. I don't know how some people can just listen to these 7+ minute songs of like looping beats and patterns without being extremely bored. This would be a 1.5 if I could give it that.

Actually pretty great. The mix of spoken word over these cool riffs and rhythms is surprisingly compelling. At times the lyrics come close to stepping into pretentious, but I still enjoy the weird metaphors that are used. Best thing I've listened to yet.
I hate the style of this album. I hate the piano sound, the southern-type fiddle playing, and the backing vocals. Would definitely be a 1.5 if I could give it that, and I don't quite think I can reasonably give it a 1 so I reluctantly am giving it a 2. It's probably the "worst" 2 I've given though.
Pretty decent considering I basically never listen to any of this type of music. Almost every song was pleasant and catchy.
I hate, and always have hated, the vocals of ACDC. Most of the riffs and all of the drumming are extremely repetitive. Almost all of the lyrics are about people having sex. The only reason I can't quite bring myself to give it a 1 is that it mostly wasn't miserable to listen to, but all of the other things I listed make it about as low of a 2 I can give.
To like this you'll need to like rockabilly style and it's offshoots. I don't particularly. Also I think the vocalist will be a polarizing point for your liking of this band. I mostly think he's kinda awful and annoying, but I can see why some people would like his vocals. The only thing that saves this album from a 1 is the occasionally fun punk beats provided by the drummer.
Really boring. Bizzare songs with bizarre lyrics that last forever and feel like they're about nothing. Would be a 1.5 if I could give it that.
I thought I would like this more but it's pretty boring and kind of generic 70s rock sounding. Even the song I used to like, "Bad Company," did nothing for me (although I hadn't listened to it in a long time). Just a 2 I guess.
An absolute snooze fest. This entire album is almost just background ambiance. I'm extremely close to giving this a 1 but I think that unlike some other albums that I'm sure I'll give a 1 when they come up, the album could be left on in the background and be at least an inoffensive listen.
Better than I thought it was going to be. This type of music is definitely not my thing but there are some good tracks here, even outside of the mega hits that really frontload the album. After the midpoint, the songs get steadily worse culminating in the second last song being a straight-up Christian song, and last song having some Christian elements but is mostly just some kind of childish listing of all the reasons why each of the 3 members are friends, which I found very strange.
