Paranoid
Black SabbathJazzier than I expected. Felt like a good intro to metal, which I've never got into. Enjoyed this a lot.

Obviously very accomplished with some all-time classics, but left me a little bored.
Some great moments but overall found it quite bland. (Though that may be the result of having Prefab Sprout and Captain Beefhart mixed up in my head.)
This didn't capture me at first but the back half, and the last four tracks in particular, grabbed me more. I'll likely give it another listen sometime.

A couple of good tracks but I really didn't get on with this as an album. At the bottom end of what I expected from the tracks I remembered.
Felt more influential than enjoyable, but also like it would reward a repeat listen.
Very much not my thing but nonetheless interesting
Straightforwardly my thing, but left me oddly cold.
I appreciate Coldplay a lot more than many other people, but I suspect that might be down to the age I was when their first couple of albums came out. While I still enjoyed a few tracks, this really dragged for me; I found it deeply dull. I've heard a lot of familiar music in high quality for the first time recently and discovered wonderful new things in it; I heard things in this I hadn't before too, but nothing interesting.
Enjoyed this a lot, and although I don't particularly remember any individual tracks something caught ear every few minutes. Definitely one to come back to.
This is very much my shit and I don't know why I hadn't heard it before (beyond a couple of well-known tracks).
I generally like The Kinks but I feel this album gave me a better sense of why some people don't
