1001 Albums Summary

It was well made but not really my thing.

I've never heard of Hugh Masekela but I enjoyed this album. I didn't love all of it and IMO it's a little bloated towards the middle end but I could see myself listening to this every now and then. I enjoyed most of it. I'm happy with this discovery

This is a solid album. It's not really my type of music and I can't see myself ever just throwing it on but I enjoyed it and appreciated it's craft

This album would have made an excellent 1 track EP - namely the title track "Tarkus". I think that might be the only interesting song in the batch. The rest of it makes it a bit unfocused sounding and can do without it.

Never was really into hair metal. But i mean I liked some part of this album wasn't terrible!

Album is interesting. Not something i'd listen to normally but i don't hate it.

I would probably never listen to this but it's charming in a way.

Never listened to the full album front to back - but I've heard almost all these songs before. This is an absolute classic and I still play some of these songs.

As a full album, I'd say it's kind of boring. I used to listen to this back then but if you were to ask me if i remember any of these songs. I'd tell you i recognize like 3-4 of them. But those 3-4 songs I really like. Overall it's fine but not something I'd need to listen to as a whole.

Semi Faux live album but I think the energy it brings is great.

I have a mild obsession and listen to this all the time. One of my favorite albums of all time

Album was good - i liked a few tracks on it. Overall, it's not really my thing though but very well produced.
