Arrival by ABBA
Mar 02 2023

Classics like Dancing Queen, Money, Money, Money, and Fernando. I really enjoyed My Love, My Life as the new listen from the album.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Mar 04 2023

Fun! Beach Boys (60s pop)

Mar 05 2023

Courtney Love (Kurt Cobain backups). Controversial. It’s okay grunge

Peter Gabriel by Peter Gabriel
Mar 06 2023

Best Song: Solsbury Hill. 3/5

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Mar 09 2023

Immigrant Song as the actual rock, but a switch to more folky stuff. Pleasant surprises: That’s the Way, Tangerine, Out on the Tiles

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Mar 11 2023

It’s a relaxing little indie album. I enjoyed the strings and horns of The Shining and the loveliness of Magic in the Air. The rest of the album was meh. 3 stars.

Dummy by Portishead
Mar 12 2023

Nice introduction to “trip hop” genre. I loved this one. Sour Times and Glory Box are the best songs on the album.

Haunted Dancehall by The Sabres Of Paradise
Mar 13 2023

This wasn’t doesn’t work for me. However, it’s got a Portishead remix halfway through the album, which is interesting because listened to Portishead yesterday. Experimental techno all the way through. 2.

Soul Mining by The The
Mar 14 2023

English new-wave pop. Wasn’t a huge fan ngl.

Rio by Duran Duran
Mar 15 2023

Rio and Hungry Like the Wolf. Still love Rio.

Shake Your Money Maker by The Black Crowes
Mar 18 2023

Hard to Handle is the little momma mess around song! She Talks To Angels + twice as hard

C'est Chic by CHIC
Mar 20 2023

Le Freak is the most recognizable. Only listened to front half of the album. Funky.

Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Mar 21 2023

Lots of angst in a weird rock/pop/synth/ska album. I hear Beatles/Reel Big Fish/Pink Floyd influences in this melancholic debut album about lost love and the masculine construct.

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Mar 23 2023

Liked Wild Horses. I just don’t think I’m a very big Stones fan.

Mar 24 2023

Not my cup of tea. However, there is a guest spot from Ice-T, which makes for an interesting collaboration.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Mar 26 2023

Just kind of forgetable indie folk tbh

Smile by Brian Wilson
