With The Beatles by Beatles
Mar 06 2023

Fantastic for what it is. Not on the level of, say, Revolver or Rubber Soul, but a great stepping stone for what was to come. All the songs are very catchy, but the instrumentation is noticeably old when compared to future works. It also contains one of my favorite Beatles songs ("Please Mister Postman") and I find it a bit bittersweet to listen to considering "All My Loving" was reportedly the last song John Lennon ever heard before his death.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Mar 07 2023

Absolutely amazing lyrics, really paints a visual picture in each song.

Here Are the Sonics by The Sonics
Mar 08 2023

Very punk-like, and probably served as inspiration for bands such as the Sex Pistols and Clash. I really enjoyed it.

Debut by Björk
Mar 09 2023
Grace by Jeff Buckley
Mar 10 2023
Mar 15 2023

Very inconsistent and at times agitating to listen to with how long some songs clock at. Not my cup of tea, though I did really enjoy the drumming.

Mar 16 2023

Courtney Love is my favorite grunge vocalist now haha what the fuck

The White Album by Beatles
Mar 20 2023

numbah nine numbah nine numbah nine numbah nine numbah nine

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Mar 21 2023

Combining an annoying singing voice with a track listing of entirely forgettable songs that all bleed into one another is not exactly the best approach to an album, I have to say.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Mar 22 2023

The first 20 seconds of 'Super Unison' had me thinking my headphones were broken

Microshift by Hookworms
Mar 23 2023

Me on my way to look up a band I really enjoyed only to find they broke up due to sexual assault allegations :D

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jul 25 2023

I don't even know where to begin with this. One of the greatest debut albums of the 21st century.

Junkyard by The Birthday Party
Jul 26 2023

What did Joe do to deserve this

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Jul 27 2023

I did not expect to like this as much as I did.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Jul 31 2023

Lofi hip hop beats to study & relax to but it's 1969 (this is a compliment)

2112 by Rush
Aug 01 2023

The 20-minute track is surprisingly the standout here.

Teenage Head by Flamin' Groovies
Aug 03 2023

I tried so hard to get into this and it just never worked out, which is unfortunate since "Flamin' Groovies" is a damn good band name

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Aug 04 2023

Great introduction to West Coast rap.
