Funky and fresh, smooth funk with some nice rap
Not Davids best album, but good for a listen through. You can tell that he put a lot of thought into each song on the album, and they are interesting to study more than to listen.
A solid metal album, great
Interesting, jazzy. but doesn't capture me that much. Has some nice moments, the bootle is good and H20gate blues is a nice spoken word kinda thing.
Nice and relaxed, very good for passive listening with groovy beats and comfy vibes.
Amazing synths, nice rhythms, has aged well
The two classic songs Shout and Everybody Wants to rule the world are classics for a reason, they are just good songs catchy and synthy and have this dreamy feel. But I have heard them too much and am tired of them, do not like hearing them again. The other songs are strange and slow and have the same dreamy nature like it is a bit hazy and far away in a memory, but they lack some of the punch that especially Shout has. They pull down the album from teh already meh point of the two songs I am familiar with.
Great album, very pure sound that shines through on every track. Positive energy all around. Positive surprise: Girls Got Rhythm, didn't know this one but it's nice.
