1001 Albums Summary

There are some filler tracks, but overall, the hits really hit.

There is a lot of filler in the music, which I'm not very keen on, especially in a recording. Live, it might work, but too much repetition over the same hook can get boring.

I appreciate the direction and novelty of the album, but I found it a bit grating at times.

I'd never been interested in listening to Amy Winehouse until this came up. I find it interesting that she was a fairly average sounding lounge singer, but still attained such popularity in the time. I think what stands out in this album is the trip hop elements. Incorporating breakbeats, a hip hop trap kit and lo-fi keys really amplifies it into something unique.

Lots of album filler and I found the songs to be poorly arranged. Sweet Dreams is a banger though.

This album is pretty consistent. There are a few filler tracks that I wasn't really feeling, but overall some of my favorite Beach House songs are on this album.

I've always disliked Van Halen without really giving them a shot. Listened to this album front to back and loved it.

Aside from the titular track, the album was pretty weak.

This is the first Iron Maiden album I've ever listened to. I'm not really a fan.

Aside from a few songs, the album is a bit hollow.

There are a few really catchy songs, but other than those the album is really weak.

I love how consistent the album is. Good stuff.
