Violator by Depeche Mode
Aug 17 2023

This music was different, but entertaining. It makes for fine background music, but not something I would put on a playlist.

Aug 18 2023

I enjoyed this album. Not appropriate for kids and zero respect for women, but the artists are clearly talented and a critical part of musical history and culture.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Aug 21 2023

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of acoustic guitar. An enjoyable album with unremarkable lyrics.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Aug 22 2023

Sultans of Swing is a great song. I am finding that I tend to like 70's style rock bands and this is one of them.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Aug 23 2023

Another early 70s rock band. I recognized several songs on this album. Overall good music.

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Aug 24 2023

I liked the guitar and piano. That's about it. Nothing amazing about this album.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Aug 25 2023

I dont understand why she can't pronounce the word baby correctly, when it is in the title of the album. Her inability to sing leaves me baffled as to why anyone ever liked this album. Not a fan.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Aug 26 2023

This album was fun to jam to. Lots of upbeat songs with quality drums. I'm not sure, but one of the songs seemed to have racist lyrics. For that reason a low rating.

Slanted And Enchanted by Pavement
Aug 27 2023

Some of the guitar riffs were awesome. I liked the beat/tempo of most of the songs. The vocals and lyrics weren't noteworthy in any way.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Aug 29 2023

I enjoyed this album. The lyrics and 70s style sound were pleasantly entertaining.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Aug 30 2023

Easy listening. Some songs were better than others. Enjoyed most of the beats and some of the lyrics.

Whatever by Aimee Mann
Aug 31 2023

The piano in the album was excellent. Very chill mood. Reminded me a bit of Michelle branch. Overall a nice listen.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Sep 01 2023

I have nothing good to say about this album. Even the electric guitar ended up being too much.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Sep 02 2023

I enjoyed this album. I recognized the song Take me Out as a jam that I could sing along with. The musicians are talented and the singing is pretty good.

The Boatman's Call by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Sep 03 2023

Terrible, TERRIBLE lyrics. Sad. Boring. Weird. Possibly worst album ever.

Hotel California by Eagles
Sep 05 2023

The guitar, singing, and lyrics work so well together. Fun and easy listening.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Sep 06 2023

Dusty has a beautiful voice.

Sep 07 2023

Another 70s sounding band. Less rock and a bit more techno/funk. Overall the vocals and unique sounds were intriguing.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Sep 09 2023

Easy listening rock. With vocals to match.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Sep 10 2023

Soul music that we can all relate to. Candy for your ears.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Sep 13 2023

Recognized the Hallelujah song.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Sep 19 2023

Reminded me of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, but with slightly better lyrics. I really don't get narrative talking/singing while there is music playing in the background. Not my thing.

Solid Air by John Martyn
Sep 22 2023

The Easy Blues aka Jelly Roll Baker earned 3 stars from me.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Sep 23 2023

Reminiscent of Aerosmith. The song 22 Acacia Avenue had terrible lyrics. Otherwise a very enjoyable album.
