To Pimp A Butterfly
Kendrick LamarStupid lyrics that try to impose importance or gravitas. Boring, one dimensional music that anyone with a mac and FL studio can make. No thanks.

The album is very non-imposing. okay to have on in the background but didn’t hold my attention.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Well composed and sonically impactful.
Gentle and smooth. Interesting melodies and timing that keep the ear engaged. Is this Elliott Smith’s dad or something? I thoroughly enjoyed this album.
This is my least favorite of the first 4 albums. It feels incohesive and doesn’t have an organized transitional feel from song to song. It feels like this is a collection of b-sides and random parts that didn’t make the other albums and were just jammed together on one record to fulfill the obligation to the record label. There are pieces of brilliant musicianship and iconic pieces scattered throughout but I find myself typically passing this zeppelin album over when flipping through my record collection.
Really not my thing. I found many of the sonic qualities landed a bit harsh on the ears.
Not a single bad song on this album. His voice is smooth and relaxing.
Miles Davis has never been my thing.
Garbage music.
While the musical talent is evident the final product sounds forced and is not a very pleasant listen. It sounds like a cover band trying to play Elton John songs.
This album sounds like what would have happened if the beatles were locked in a studio with a casio keyboard for a year. Not unlistenable but overly simplistic. Which is probably why, much like the beatles, it appeals to the masses. I don’t think I would go out of my way to listen again.
This album was fantastic and sonically engaging from beginning to end. You could feel the energy through the recording as if you were attending the live show!
The harmonica on this album evokes feelings that I experienced as a child on a long car trip with my family where a younger sibling was allowed to weild a kazoo, uninterrupted, for hours on end. If you are able to get past that, your ears will be rewarded with the incoherent ramblings of a person who mistakes being high for actually having a personality. Like a fly in the house, Dylan some how manages to be both boring and annoying.
Not bad. Interesting compositions that held my attention. Not typically what I enjoy but I didn’t hate it either.
There’s nothing worse than politics and racism ruining what would otherwise be a pretty decent album. Flav is annoying at times, but the beats are fun if not a little repetitive… Meh
They would have been huge if Duran-Duran hadn’t already filled the niche. Good album.
Luckily if you don’t know the words to one of the songs on this album you can just sing the words from one of the other songs. They could have recorded 3 songs and gotten the same point across. Not terrible but fairly boring and repetitive.
