1001 Albums Summary

I loved this. Sounds so familiar yet was brand new to me. Can see it as a high influence for Japanese jazz fusion.

So good. It plays like a greatest hits record. One of my favorites of all-time.

This was a lot of fun and a great listen. Love the groovy baseline in People. Love the deep backing vocals in Love and Affection.

A fun listen, seems ahead of its time. Can see how it could influence a lot of the electropop of the 2000s. Really enjoyed the About Funk, seemed very Daft Punk-esque. Also liked the vocals on Sometimes. Good stuff.

I liked it fine, but wasn't anything new or exciting. Was fun to hear a different side of Queen.

Have never listened to it all the way through, but I know the hits. I liked it and a pretty impressive debut album.

It's a classic. Side A is pretty much perfect, ending with such a gigantic song like Kashmir is great.

I can see how and where it has influenced others, but it just didn't do it for me.
