Just my least favourite band and album on this list so far, but I'm not surprised to see them on here. Overrated, banal, passionless, pointless.
First album!!! Giving this a shot, cannot wait to expand my musical horizons :) some absolute gems here, amazed at how many songs on this have been sampled over the years. Does go on too long, in numbers of songs and the songs themselves. But they cover a really wide range of styles, and now interested in what else stevie made over the years.
A really bizarre experimental album, quite interesting but won't listen again. Would rate it as his best, some people have but I'm not sure it makes this list.
Unfortunately this isn't an album with any appeal, but seeing other reviews this is just a personal preference. Even so I can't see how it's worthy of this list - there are experimental tracks and technically well finished but with a fairly similar pace, tone, and without any standout tracks with a spark or hook to make it memorable.
A solid debut album that rightly made daft punk and french music a big name on the world scene. Solid album though, largely instruments album which limits its place but I can't dock points for that. Great choice for when the mood is right.
Lives up to the name. Rough cut, but looking into the production history I'm amazed it sounds as polished as it does!
I mean it's eminem at his best...not my type of music normally but got some great tracks and compared to everything else from that time, really stands out.
A lovely sounding album, not the most energetic but with plenty of passion. Perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
Some good fun listening to this, with surprising depth and history to the lyrics layered between good alt-country tunes. Will give their other albums a try!
Just not their best work, really surprised to see it on this list. Unless they have other albums on here, I'd really question the decision to put this album on this list over their 70s work.
Definitely not the album I expected, based on hearing a couple of Nelson's songs before...it was a good listen, and I could appreciate the great blend of styles and lovely vocals, but not an album I want to listen to again. Just not my preference, so I'll give it a middle of the road rating.
Amazing album, soulful and moving, that could be listened to in the kitchen or living room. Definitely try his other albums!
Just an epic album to dance to!
Eh, 2-3 good songs but has nothing on 21 and not deserving of being in this list!
A collaboration album between four great musicians of thier field. While the tracks contain signatures of all four musicians individual styles, I'm disappointed that the end project seems to be worse than the sum of its parts! A moody, languid record lacking the spark to make it powerful. A shame as it's technically very good with good rhythms and lyrics. For that I can't give it a one star, as some people may like it but for me this album is an unfortunate miss.
An iconic albums of the britpop 90s! A lot more varied than I imagined it would be, with only knowledge of Blurs biggest hits...all round great and deserving of its critical acclaim.
Fantastic album!! Filled with a good variety of songs with rich melodies, passion and fun. Would have loved to see these songs live back in the day....possibly Elton's best album, but ive still got more to listen to and I hope im proven wrong!
Really bland listen. I know now why I'd never heard of this album before.
A great 60s album by a band id honestly never heard of - Steve Winwood bringing a great sound for nice casual listening.
A really unique live album, great set showing Johnnie's lifelong camaraderie with prisoners. Personally really enjoyed it
A couple of great hits, but a lot of tracks are disappointments. A couple of favourites (besides the eternal hit superstition) are Tuesday Heartbreak and I believe.
A brilliant album with amazing flow, introspective lyrics, almost to becoming a life story of Tupac. A hip-hop classic and a must for anyone looking to explore the genre.
