First album! I had heard of Nick Drake but never really listened to him. While I listened I read a bit of a Wiki article on him which was a bummer but gave some good background to his music. This album is calm, atmospheric and reminiscent. ‘Cello Song’ is my favourite song on this album. I’ll be sure to check out more of his stuff.

Haven’t actually listened to the Velvet Underground before. I think this is a better introduction to their sound as opposed to “The Velvet Underground and Nico”. It’s not really a standout for me but I can appreciate the sentiment behind it.

Absolutely LOVE the Clash. I’m glad I got to revisit this album. I appreciate the variety in their songwriting and style. This album is more rockabilly than some of the other albums and Joe Strummer’s solo work.

Birth of the cool is right.

Early Beatles isn’t my favourite as I find it too mainstream compared to their later work. However, they’re still the most influential band of all time and every album is significant in its own right.

I certainly enjoy Brazilian/Cuban/Spanish music and this album does not disappoint. 21 songs and each has its own unique sound which is impressive. Very good!

Solid punk album from ‘95. Not really the same as the punk I listen to, but had some bangers regardless. ‘On a Rope’ SLAPS

Love electronic music. Track one ‘Keeping the Pigs Together’ has already gotten me interested.

This is way better than I expected. Has a great flow. Had never heard of him prior to this.

Brian Eno, the original weirdo. This album was a bit of a miss for me as I had high hopes from his other work.

I cannot stand prog rock. ELP is ingenious in their own right, but it’s 100% not for me in any way. There are no standout tracks and I found it dull for a live album.

Big fan of 70s/80s new wave/pop punk. I’ve listened to the Go-Go’s before, and I still appreciate their influence. Good, fun, upbeat rock that’s unapologetically authentic. Women fucking rock.

I’ve already explored this album and it’s a really fun 90s hip hop trip. Underrated group for the time.
